Least threatening forgotten beasts

With the sheer randomness of the creature generator, sometimes the forgotten beasts aren't so much "Eldritch Horror" as "Eldritch Hilarity".

Just because it's not physically impressive is no reason to discount its tenacity or will to do great and terrible deeds.   It could be a charismatic leader, or a sinister mastermind.  Looks aren't everything!

I once had a random demon in one of my first 0.31 legends. He was basicaly a noseless green humanoid ape, nothing special about him except the fact that he scored more kills in worldgen then Tolthig, and was the leader of the most powerful goblin civ in the world, which only grew strong because he plowed through entire armies by himself.

I wish I hadn't been lazy and waited to post a screenie, save got corrupt some time later during adventurer mode while I tried to find him :\.

IIRC, his name was anything but impressive either.

My first forgotten beast was a winged snail that was supposed to shoot webs. It never got to shoot webs.

Wait.....are "Demons" and "Forgotten Beats" in the same category or considered separate altogether? Or is it just because the demons can actually be categorized (skunk brute, horse demon, etc)?

Nah, they're different. I just wanted a reason to mention that awesome awesome poison ape demon.

But yea, looks really do not count when measuring forgotten beast's power. However I do remember a giant, pink furred frog thing trying to invade my fort and getting 1 shot'd by an axedwarf.

I once had a forgotten beast that was just a giant slug with scales. It was supposed to have a poison breath or something too, but all it had in the end was over 150 units of delicious, delicious meat. mmmmmmm forgotten beast.
