Never said I was playing with you guys. I'm wondering how to use it in singleplayer because I am a born again newbie.

It only takes a few minutes to download and install the new creatures. You can download them here (no registration required) and at 162 KB each, there is really no reason to limit yourselves.

You can switch to the downloaded creatures in either map 1 or 4. Look for a silver scroll somewhere beyond the wooden gate (after you got your first creature), a man should show up to offer you to change your current creature.

FYI, this is incorrect. The patches are just unlockers; all versions of the game come with every creature available.

I played this several years ago. Seemed fun for a while. The first island, at least, was really pleasant. Then came the second one, where I had to defeat another god. It was even better. The third one... that's where it gets annoying.

Your creature is captured and imprisoned. You start with one village, which is really far away from the others. Basically the only way to convert the other ones is to throw shit at them. The enemy did nothing except of converting his villagers back. Imagine Doom where you get to kill zombie soldiers and nothing else, armed only with a handgun. This level was almost as fun.

Then there was the fourth. Fireballs, lightning and wild beasts are systematically laying waste to your village! Holy shit! What will you do? Will you shield the villagers or just battle the evil god?

Neither of that answer is true. You stop the curse by doing some stupid things like playing the right tone on some kind of xylophone stones. How fucking godlike. Well, this was the game where you need to impress a dirty hermit with the size of your monkey... but even after this it seemed anticlimactic. I stopped playing.

Land 3, build a very large village, and do that irritating "follow the yogi" quest. Do the quest first, since he'll stop most of what Lethys throws at you. Convert that huge ass village towards the end peacefully. Then, when Lethys opens to portal for you, whether or not you decide to kill him(it's Good to spare him, probably Evil not to), put a teleport on the portal, and another by your temple. Raise the totem all the way, and get an instant 150+ people for Land 4.

In Land 4, get all of those people worshipping and you can easily maintain a large shield and food miracles for as long as you need. I don't know if they fixed it in a later patch, but don't drop anything on those worshippers! It causes all of them to endlessly trip over each other, causing worship to stop completely.
