Alright, I'm going to start a new adventurer, as Xugot's last known whereabouts died with Vester.
I've made rifle bullets capable of one-shotting people. This, unfortunately, makes bullets as larger than battleaxes.

I've decided against narrating this one. This one is going to be written much more like a story.

Spoiler: Intro (click to show/hide)

Great intro, huh?
Two things that I'd like you to know. First off, is that I had to sell our food and water to buy the amulet. Second, we don't have a pistol yet, but are have a ranking of skilled in that area. We also have a ranking of skilled in swordsmanship. I did it like this so we could have bronze chainmail instead of leather armor.
HOLY SHIT I'M FUCKING PSYCHIC!
The age I put down in the intro was just how old I wanted her to be. I just checked legends 5 seconds ago, and she's actually 21. Holy shit.

EDIT/UPDATE:
Interesting shit's happened, can't wait for you to see it.

CHAPTER ONE!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Most of it is horribly written because I suck at writing sometimes.
And yes, the same guy has given my two different quests to the same place.

Holy crap, is that natural armor, or is the demon wearing chainmail?

Also, good call on the not-first-person narration. That way getting killed won't be so hard to write.

No natural armor. It was just really fucking big. My short sword was blocked by it's pig tail coat, I shit you not.
Yes, she can bat bullets out of the air with her sword.

bullets are just bolts with a different name.
The batting bolts out of the air thing is kind of why I'd have preferred DF2010 with Xugot but all in all it seems like it will be fine. I'll take the third day.

Perhaps we should start a new thread.

Freaking samurai monitors.

Alternately, a "monitor" demon looks like this:

I changed the damage and stuff for bullets so they're more killy. But not much. They're larger than any other weapon, but I can't really figure out how to make them truly one-shot kills. I'm going to collect Xugot's story and put it in the OP.
Shit, I haven't played since I finished chapter one.

You could make them slashing bullets, but that would just be odd, so piercing would be the best route. As far as I remember, Deon's bullets are piercing or blunt; the reason this works is that most of the armor lying around is made of leather, and leather doesn't stop the bullets very well.

I don't know how to change the damage to piercing. In item_weapon everything is listed as either edge or blunt. I don't think there is piercing any more.

The demon's corpse weighed 12,079r. His cave spider silk coat weighed 227r.
Alright, my day is up. I'm sorry, you're stuck moving at 301 or something like that until you trade the demon corpse and his coat. Preferably for a pistol and some ammo. That or just ditch the bitching corpse and go to ghoulcleaned and take some stuff.

Piercing attacks are made by reducing the edge size to a certain amount (I can't remember) - the spears and arrows should have decent examples.

Also, Robocorn's up next, right?

Piercing is slashing with a small edge size.  Have you considered keeping it blunt, reducing the contact area to about 10 and putting up the velocity to 1,000,000?

Alright. Trying that. Is it just me, or do modifications not come into effect unless you gen a new world? Nope, they work. Changing the damage to BLUNT doesn't help at all. With edge, bullets were shattering bones at velocity 2000, and now, with the velocity multiplier set to 2000000000, it only bruises them. I changed it back to EDGE, and got a one shot the the head. it was amazing.
Another head shot.

Not pictured is the twenty other shots that hit him. This picture is non cannon in relation to the adventure.
