Maybe it is Xugot's time. He's died twice in a row by two people... wait...

Sure, no prob. Let's try using a young world, this time, so that the Megas and Semimegas still have most of their limbs intact and attached to their bodies.

can we play in 31.08 this time?
At least then we'd be able to survive crossbow bolts with our armor.
We could just mod out the infection tags for playable races.
we should try having a cutoff year in the age of myth.

how's 350?

Dragons and Hydras will be a bit too easy to kill at 350, though.

But yeah, 31.x sounds fine.

31.08 sounds perfect. Let's try 450, then. Should I start again, or do either of you want to?
HOLD THE FUCK UP, just got news that with the next update there's a lot of new stuff with adventure mode. Want to wait until then, or do we need more blood for the adventure god?

dragons and hydras are the same size they are in 6 as they are in 990.
swap their growth levels with
[BODY_SIZE:0:0:60000]
   [BODY_SIZE:1:0:80000]
   [BODY_SIZE:2:0:120000]
   [BODY_SIZE:3:0:140000]
   [BODY_SIZE:4:0:160000]
   [BODY_SIZE:5:0:180000]
   [BODY_SIZE:7:0:200000]
   [BODY_SIZE:10:0:300000]
   [BODY_SIZE:15:0:500000]
   [BODY_SIZE:20:0:600000]
   [BODY_SIZE:30:0:700000]
   [BODY_SIZE:40:0:800000]
   [BODY_SIZE:60:0:900000]
   [BODY_SIZE:80:0:1000000]
   [BODY_SIZE:100:0:1500000]
   [BODY_SIZE:150:0:2000000]
   [BODY_SIZE:200:0:5000000]
   [BODY_SIZE:300:0:10000000]
   [BODY_SIZE:500:0:15000000]
   [BODY_SIZE:750:0:20000000]
   [BODY_SIZE:1000:0:25000000]
and give them a
[CAN_LEARN]
tag and their 350 years of terrible majestly will de-nerf them

EDIT:I might be ready for a third turn, but I can wait.
It depends on the release date for the adventure fix. It would be cool to do an adventure succession for people who aren't familiar with the new material, so I'm still up for waiting.

It might be better to start a 31.08 one now because Toady's probably going to update everyfew weeks with new content until he has everything that is planned in the DevNotes page. Maybe playing 31.08 until he puts in specific features (Adventure mode forts, boats, digging, etc.).

Let's put in all sorts of nifty stuff, though.

Like guns. That should increase the silliness, and chances of horrible, horrible death (for other people). It's just a simple matter of cribbing Deon's ammo and weapons from his Wasteland mod.

That... is an amazing idea.
I'll get working on it, if you guys want me to start again.

I've replaced crossbows and bows with assault rifles and pistols, respectively. Assault rifles have a bayonet, so they can stab.
I've also included Robo's Dragon Growth PlanTM, so dragons are now evil. And they [CAN_LEARN].
Anything else you guys want added?

Naw, that seems good.

Attacking Goblin towers is proabbly going to be a lot more fatal, though.

I don't think "a lot" does justice to just how much more fatal attacking goblin towers and forts is going to be.

So we got monsters above, monsters below, dwarves in the middle and a party in the dining hall. Sounds good to me.
If all else fails, remember one thing:  kittens are delicious, nutritious little goblin-baiters, cavern explorers, and ambush-finders.

In which case, we must be like pistolero ninjas.

We are... the night.
