I can believe it. Global ults makes it really hard for them to balance champions. Apparently, every time they've gotten Pantheon to a more-or-less balanced point, his ability to show up anywhere at any time after level 6 made him overpowered.

I'm tired of people playing janna thinking she's an offensive mage. We had a midjanna last game, she did nothing the whole game apart from steal a single kill, die 3 times and end up with less minion kills and assists then everyone. Sure she was the one who died less, but thats not because she was good, but because she did nothing at all. I don't think I saw her using her ultimate even once either.
And then there was the irelia who for some reason got a negraton cloak despite the enemy team having no magic damage apart from maokai, and she played veeeery defensive and never ganked.

This happens everytime I play tank. We end up having no damage because the carries are too scared to carry. I know playing safe early is important, but if you're playing a character widely regarded for its massive offensive potential, you gotta attack someone, sometime, at least.

You should see me play Morgana. It's completely opposite of what you described.

It's funny because I'm a pretty terrible Morgana. I can't land my skillshot to save my life. The best part however is that I think the enemy team was extremely pissed off at Ezreal who never called MIA and kept telling us to report him. I wouldn't blame him though; how often do you see mid go and gank sidelanes barely 6 minutes into the game? xD I wouldn't have called SS as well.

I don't even get why they thought janna was a good mid choice. We had brand and leblanc, both are infinitely superior mid champions, but no, they wanted to share top lane, and die to poppy and yi, somehow.

Oh god, Malphite, were have you been all this time. I just tried him in a normal match for the first time ever, and he's a blast. I was solo against lee sin and blitz, and I got some easy kills due to blitz being a horrible tower diver, and then lee sin making similar mistakes. He's not exactly super fun to play but he's just so good, probably the best initiator I ever played aswell.

Game ended with me being 10/5/12.

Malphite destroys early game against people that don't commit well or build early MR.  One of the most frustrating games I've ever had was when I laned solo against him with Caitlyn.  Ugh... His passive would completely nullify Peacemaker, and I couldn't get in auto-attack range without getting hit by his slow, which hurt a lot more than my piddly unfed early attack damage.  There was literally nothing I could do.
