So, after a few more ranked matches, I still think that it's more interesting than the normal games. I noticed that there is almost always a serious retard/feeder per team, but as long as you don't allow yours to feed like crazy, its pretty much ok.

I may still lack experience in ranked, but from my point of view it's more challenging than normal, people seem to be more skilled overall, but maybe it's just my imagination. So far i had 6 wins for 3 losses so i guess it's also part of what makes me happy with ranked .

Ah just one thing i'd like to rant about : it seems that some players do not grasp the concept of "not pushing a lane", and will always overextend, allowing the enemy to hug the tower comfortably. For example, last match, our warwick was supposed to jungle and i was supposed to solo lane (playing sion), but instead he pushed my lane. I asked him to go jungle, and he went, but every time i was able to hug my tower, he came back to push more >_<

Thanks god, since he was mostly in the jungle, overall he didnt feed too much (4 deaths/4 kills) and i tried to babysit him as i could, like doing dragon early with him, stunning a lot when he was in danger, etc.. and in the end we won (i got 5/0/11 on that match, ehe).

Edit : oh, another funny example of ... weird player : i had a tryndamere with 5 avarice blades... he had like 0/11/x

The game was kinda sad because our Rammus (premade, he lives in the same house as me) had a latency as 14k and kept disconnecting. They did suck though.

First item was Banshee's Veil, which I would never, EVER do but it made a lot of sense this game. We first blooded mid Kassadin before creeps got to the lane, and the only person on their team that did AD was Gangplank. Our Poppy planned to focus Gangplank in teamfights, take him out, and the rest of their team (Kass, Gragas, Cho, Veigar) do little damage while I get double/triple kills by sitting in the back.

Anyway, last game was hilarious, it lasted nearly 1 hour and a half, at one point 5 of our turrets were down and they still had all of theirs up. But their team just sucked horribly at pushing, and eventualy we killed them all and ate their base.

It was made even more hilarious because our Karma kept telling me to buy warmogs and wondering why I had 350 armor, even though their team consisted of AD teemo, AD TF, xin, shen and amumu.

Every game I go mid with Cho, enemy mid lane gets steamrolled, coincidence? I think nae. Vlad, Ezreal, Kennen, several Luxes, Karthus, Zilean, Ashe, Trist, Several Caitlyns, Kassadin, etc. Everyone I went against on mid using Cho so far either never managed to push mid or died horribly, AND got pushed. Of course there's the very likely possibility taht each and every one of them sucked terribly.

EDIT: And I have to admit that Kennen was a hard match, mostly because she wasn't braindead and kept moving to avoid half of the ruptures.

Its all well written and stuff, but I dunno if I agree with him. Not only did this suggest a warmogs, but a double warmogs at that, and no mention of banshee's, even though a Cho'Gath with a catalyst basically means that if you can't kill him in one go, he'll never die.

He makes some interesting suggestions like atma's et stuff, but it sounds like he's just making a huge bloodrazor target. He gets so very little magic resistance. I only completely agree with him on the rupture vs scream thing and the summoner spells, most of the time they don't have the firepower to harass me into retreating and are squishy so rupture hurts them like hell. Also, he sorta contradicts himself when he talks of a regrowth pendant as a first item. Sure combined with your passive it'll keep you alive for a loooong time, but you can't really be all aggressive as he wants you to be if you don't start with something to help with your mana regen, so you can churn out ruptures at a reasonably fast rate and make people crap their pants over trying to tower dive you.
