It would be helpful if the OP actually said what LoL, RoNL, HaN, etc, actually are. All I see is that this is a clone of what is presumably a game? Involving a bunch of fantasy things? Do you kill the fantasy things? Are you the fantasy things?

LoL=League of Legend, it's a multiplayer tournament stlye fantsy game, in which the objective is to destroy the opposing teams base with the aid of power-up items, your teammates, and AI controlled 'minions' which run a set base towards the enemies minions and defense towers, which must be destroyed in your path before you get to the enemies base, which is then destroyed.  You control a single 'hero' who levels up as you fight (though starts at lvl 1 for each new game) and can be customized with items and pre-set abilities, there's about 50 different heros to be chosen from, though there's only 7 weekly 'free' ones, the others can be unlocked with points you earn from playing (or money, but people who just buy the characters don't normally have the experience playing as people who earn them, and most likely die quickly) You can die multiple times, but the respawn time increases each time, and so does the amount of gold you lose.

Both  ;D. I guess I'll get around to updating OP a bit, I'm just too lazy to do that (I even quoted Mindmaker because I couldn't be assed to write anything myself).

If this helps a little ( I highly doubt it ) here is explanation:
LoL = League of Legends - this thread is about this game
DoTA = Defense of The Ancients - ancient custom map to Warcraft 3
HoN = Heroes of Newerth - competitor of LoL

Ps. There are 10 weekly champions.

EDIT: There ya go. I edited OP. Hopefully more helpful now.
EDIT2: Any ideas on what I can put in there are welcomed.

I looked up profile since I had no idea what that Tauren is and you played as Alistair (a minotaur btw  ;D). Very good tank. Often he's underrated because he doesn't have taunt mechanic like Rammus and Shen but he's amazing at disrupting enemy formation, can heal and take ton of damage. Nice trick is to take Flash (I think its unlocked at level 12) as summoner spell, blink behind guy and headbutt him into your team. There is funny team setup with Alistair called "Pinball", basically it revolves around throwing around your opponents and separating them from rest of team so they can be easily 5vs1. It's so frustrating for opponents  ;D.

Send me your nick so I can add you to list.

Just had another go as the ice archer girl. Learned 2 things.

1) I hate playing as stupid squishy archers that can go down in 3 hits. That stupid guy with the spear just seemed to be able to tear through me like paper. :(

2) The more players in the game, the more chance people are going to be idiots and quit halfway through/go afk as soon as the match starts, etc...

Starting to get the hang of the equiptment and stuff, planning ahead to make sure ive got space to build the good items. I think I'm gonna try each of the heroes and then decide which one I like, though I've got a feeling it's gonna be someone smashy.

1) Don't let him anywhere near you, as Ashe it shouldn't be that difficult with all slows you have. Playing squishy characters can be hard, one wrong move, stun and you are dead. I recently started playing tank and at first I had opposite problem, I was too cautious since I used to play casters all the time.

2) This happens but its really frequent only on lower levels (its funny thing but the better players the better manners) and in practice games where there is no penalty for leaving (though people like this should be reported even if it's just practice), when you "host" practice game you can somewhat circumvent this by kicking players with unusually high leave count (today I saw guy with 12 won, 10 left).

Here is a linky for all new players: http://leaguecraft.com/
There is a ton of guides there, though you shouldn't rely on them too much, there is also a lot of garbage in there so you should look at highly rated guides because these are actual guides with tips not just item build. Ah yes item builds. At first sticking to good build may be good but this isn't really effective in longer run. Instead you should learn what items are effective on your champion and then buy what you need at the moment (Fed Ryze? Buy magic resistance, getting armor because your item build dictates so in this situation is stupid).

That's very good idea. One word of advice here, as newbie in this game and also playing champion for first time you shouldn't expect to roflstomp (if this happens that's just because your opponents were even worse, though congrats to AussieGuy 15/1 isn't easy to pull off especially as newcomer), actually expect to feed badly. What you should pay attention to is skill set. Basically look for champions with skills you like and then learn to play with said champion. I made mistake and unlocked Karthus (very expensive) without trying him (because some Karths badly beaten me and his ulti looked like ton of fun ::)) just to be bored with him after 30+ games even though I had around 2.0 kill ratio and even more assists.

First of all... most champions live or die on their item builds.  Occasionally, you'll run into somebody, especially early game, who seemingly can build anything they want and get away with almost no loss in efficiency.... but they are few and far between.

Secondly.... fenrif, that is an excellant idea.  You will save a lot of time and grief (and lost IP) if you follow through on that.

Umm I'm not sure what you are getting at but I'll use example of what I have in mind.

Lets take Rammus I started playing. So lets say we are playing on Twisted Treeline, its 3vs3. Enemy team consists of Veigar, Anivia and Mordekaiser (they all do magic damage, building them as physical dps's is simply bad idea). Are you still getting Thornmail (which is amazing item on Rammus)? I would rather take Banshee's Veil. Because armor while (thanks to passive) gives you better damage it will be not very useful against this kind of opponents.

Another example. You play as Tryndamere high risk-high reward style since you are so good at getting away with it. So you don't invest in survivability at all. But enemy team starts to stack armor heavily because you are doing too well. Do you get Bloodthirster on top of your Infinity Edge or rather take Last Whisper earlier? In reverse situation enemy team is infected with "dps syndrome" and doesn't get any armor items at all. Do you still get Last Whisper (which is part of pretty much every physical dps build) even though your 40% of armor reduction won't reduce much from almost nothing?

Of course it takes experience to judge what you really need, just stacking random armor/whatever items on any character won't work too well. Because you will end up with team of 0 damage champions or something to that effect.

That's why I said to not follow guides and item builds blindly. These may be good but problem with them is that they are made in vacuum. You need to counter your enemies, not just build good items on your champion.

You should put the leaguecraft link in the op. I love that site, I always check out some builds for a champ before I play them for the first time.

That's Xin.
Don't worry that guy tears trhough anything like paper.
That's the reason why he always gets banned in ranked games.

And low level Ashe can be quite hard, as you get the Flash summoner spell (allows you to teleport for a short distance, even through terrain) at level 12.

I added Leaguecraft link to op.

In other news:
Do you guys think I picked my new champ just because he's one of the most durable tanks? You see by chance he also is fastest champion: this has to be seen. I couldn't stop laughing. Its just ridiculous.

People do complain about Xin even after nerfs so I think he might get some more soon though personally I never had any problem with him (unless he was really fed but that applies to every champion).

ya frankly, unless you have a team that's willing to backpack you when you're Xen, and get you fed, he's really not ll that good (god I can take even a semi-fed Xin as ryze)
