Instead I will go find some light weight sheet metal that could be carried like a shield.

Andersson hunts around a few bins and a couple stores and finds a large panel of corrugated iron. He find some old stiff plastic wrapping and improvises a shield out of the panel.

LSS searches stores looking for ranged weaponry. This being America, a gun is not too far away but many of the good ones have been taken. A pistol, will little ammo is looted by LSS.

Gausser meanwhile looks for a large vehicle. Not far away, a Small Pick Up is in a state of minor disrepair. While searching, gausser tries the bunker but is refused entry. The inhabitants are scraed of the outside and have shunned the trio from their hideaway.

search for a working vehicle, preferably something that can load much equipment. Remember guys our bunker is still full of people who need food and water...

Oh, you'd need some scrap metal for the casing and the bullet, some potassium nitrate which should be 75% of the mixture, the next 10% is supposed to be sulphur, and finally the last 15% is Charcoal.

Yes, I know how to make a peice of ammunition, well except the blasting cap, but does LSS know how? especially with the current environment.
