Chapter 3: Forming an Army
« Reply #20 on: June 10, 2010, 06:21:58 pm »

Here we have Conservative Drone 1.
I also straight up kidnapped a Fashion Designer and named him Fabio...

Anyways, it's time to organize work. By the way, before we went on our recruitment spree, I moved us to a warehouse, that way we're not bugging the guys at the Homeless Shelter.
In order to make your slaves recruits work, you should press
You should see this screen:

Note Tom Sawyer hanging out in the corner, I picked him up in my time machine. I'm assigning him to whitewashing fences for now.
Now, we need someone to turn Fabio to the Darkside...
This guy looks pretty capable:

You're going to want to use someone with good persuation, this guy's the best we got. Still, it's better than nothin'.
He will also henceforth be named Joe HuggyBuns.
I also just noticed Baird in the back.

Must've taken a wrong turn on his way to Gears of War 3.
I'm of course going to assign him to the squad. Not only because of his name, but also because he's got a Rifle of 2, and that's the best I've seen of these greens.
Everyone else is either selling brownies, or soliciting donations, both will give us some extra cash flow.
Anyone else is up for grabs, give a shout out if you want to claim anyone.
Another thing we'll need is a slogan, what I'll probably do is select one every update and post it at the beginning of each one.

I'd like to remind everyone that half of the time I don't even know what I'm talking about. The other half of the time I only sort of know what I'm talking about.

Chapter 3: ...and a Half

Everything's been going fine, we've been slowly but surely turning Fabio and CD1, and our profits have been rising.
Here are a few things that can happen, They can resist:

Their resolve can weaken:

They can turn the tables, which is very good because your interrogator will gain stats:

Or they can join you. That hasn't happened yet.
Well, at least we're getting money from selli-

How...

How do you get arrested for selling brownies?! It's not like anyone even knows the LCS exists, I mean, we haven't done anything publicly ye-

Tom!? I told you to whitewash the fences! Ok, even so, how do the cops know to arrest these people? Is selling brownies illegal in the state of Ohio? Are they just going around arresting people selling baked goods on the street? "Hey! Step away from the SnickerDoodles!" "But I'm just a Girl Scout!" "Tell it to the judge missy!"
*sigh*
Ah well, I decide to take my newly earned into town and splurge on on some guns at the pawn shop, because, of course, pawn shops in the state of Ohio can sell you guns and ammunition without a permit or a waiting period.
I bought a shotgun and ammo for Baird, I'm pretty sure he's happy.
Oh, hey.

Look who's a Liberal Sleeper!
I have no idea what to do with a sleeper, I've never tried to use one before, but they don't show up on the job list, and I can apparently assign them to squads and send them out to do things. Hmm...
There goes Fabio.

Well, I have no idea what to do with these guys, if anyone can help me with that, that would be great, if not, I'll find out eventually.

Sleepers can get you information, sabotage, or raise some funds.
You can also have them join as a full member.
I once got a 15 year old boy arrested for credit card fraud as a sleeper.

I'm pretty sure the brownies you're selling are illegal, yes. ;)

They can turn the tables, which is very good because your interrogator will gain stats:

I haven't played this version, but if it's like the other version, you actually want your wisdom stat to be low. If a liberals wisdom stat is high enough they will turn conservative. Basically, wisdom is a conservative stat, heart is a liberal one. You want high heart, low wisdom.

Oh, wow, OK.

I still need to know how to make my sleepers do things. They don't show up on the job list.

Bonus 1: The Short Adventures of Joe HuggyBuns
« Reply #29 on: June 11, 2010, 02:18:12 pm »

So I decided to send Joe out to steal a car. It didn't go so well.

Usually you want someone with a high security and a high driving. In this case, Joe had security: 2 and driving: 1, so he's more than capable right?
First you choose what you want to find, in this case a van.
Then you approach the driver side door and pick the lock or break a window. I picked the lock.
Now you can desperately search for the keys or hotwire it. I tried searching for the keys, to no avail.

So I hotwired it.

Unfortunately, some cops saw us.

I tried to lose them, but they kept on my-

WHAT THE FUCK! I ONLY STOLE A VAN! YOU CAN'T USE LETHAL FORCE!
Jesus! I'm still desperately trying to run from the cops while Joe bleeds all over the place, and the policeman with a shotgun finally hits him in the chest.

That's just fucking great...
