It does succeed though, Marcus is feelin' the nerd love. After a couple awkward moments, he gets his first kiss. Which is awesome, but kinda sad, because he's in the 11'th grade. Ah well, his life is much better, thanks to you! Here's to you, Helpers! Mission: Marcus was a resounding success!
 
you emerge from the link to find yourself in a stark white room, with a smiling Gary Stu waiting for you. Groggily, everyone sits up.
"Well, well, well! I guess I was right! Marcus was rather easy, wasn't it?" He pauses, and puts a finger to his ear.
"Uh-huh. Yeah. Oh. Oh no, that's not good..." He frowns and turns back to you, his expression grave.
"It seems your work was all for naught, some of the... Star-Makers..." He seems loath to say the word. But his customary smile returns as quickly as it left.
"Never mind that though, you succeeded. For a bit. And on your first mission, too! I think a party is in order!"
 
And so you partied the night away. There was much happiness and make-out sessions with other Helpers.
 
You return to work the following day revitalized, and a level higher in your powers!
