Only after (very) prolonged exposure, and never if they're wearing sun-screen.

Yep. Not that that will be too useful. Your powers extend until I think that you'r to weak to do that. If it's a good Idea, it will probably pass, but you're not manipulating the sun yet.

Well, now I have a use.

The question is, will 5% love really alter the course of things? That, my friends, is the problem.

With proper timing, I guess it COULD work, but...

((The problem is preserving it for a day. Every day you can alter another 5%, even if your old 5% is still there. You can alter multiple people in a day, but only 5% in one person per day.))

Marcus walks to his classroom. It seems that they're watching a movie (a geometry movie? Eww.), and the song "Renagade" begins playing on the movie as he enters. Nice.
 
There are three seats availible. One is in the front, by Clive, Marcus' friend since elementry school. One is in the middle, next to Janice and Carla, and one in the back is next to Duke, who looks at you angrily, but you can see the dejection in his eyes. Who do you sit with?

Personally I would go sit next to the guy who tried to attack me and failed. Better to try and reset the relationship then anything else...

Worked once for me IRL...

Probably usually sits by Clive, so taking that option would not change anything.
Janice and Carla might be too soon.
Dealing with Duke might, if done skillfully, help with other matters, but can doing anything today help? (Probably. Also, I, personally, think that becoming friends with Duke might work out well. Dowsn't have to be a strong friendship, but you can't keep him away forever by fear without changing Marcus, and that might make him just seem inconsiderate or something.)

You sit next to Duke. Everyone (including Duke himself) looks at you with suprise on their faces. Even the teacher looks at you oddly.
