The first time I heard the phrase pants on head retarded was from Stephen Colbert.

I first heard it in one of Yahtzee's videos, and used in it a rant about 9/11 "Truthers".  Jude quoted it in his signature for a long time, which brings us back to this thread.  Maybe Pandar subconciously associated the phrase with Jude, and wound up using it himself?

Personally, I find all this xenophobia and "they need to constantly say they are not criminals" rather disturbing. With the same logic, any Catholic church within 500m of a school or playground should be forced to put up a sign "we do not encourage child molestation".

There are many Muslims and Muslim preachers, intellectuals, priests, whatever, who are just fine and integrated in Western societies like the US and Europe. So, there is no reason to say that Islam itself is basically to blame and thus no reason to have its followers explicitly state that they respect the laws of the country they live in. Just as you take it for granted that Christians accept the laws of the country, so you should take the Muslims' acceptance with the same feelings.

I'm outraged! We need more vocal opposition to the opposition of muslims building their buildings. But really, people care WAY too much.

On the other hand, whose great PR idea was it to build a mosque near ground zero? Supposedly they are building it to help relations (heard it on the news sometime)?

Its kinda like opening an ATF branch office across the street from where the Branch Davidian ranch was.

Or a U-haul franchise next to where the Federal Building in OC was.
