This is a game that just came to me. lets make our own world. no limits, make anything. I just want to see how this goes so I'll start with a setting:

Their is a massive ocean, that is all on this lonely world. their may be rock beneath the water, but their is nothing to see it. their are no fish, no plants... no islands. You are a designer from a thriving planet and you, with the help of others, must shape this world... have fun.

What are our tools? Technological? Divine? Or just whatever.

Divine. just say what you want to appear. I am so tempted to start...

I'll start with the classic:

LET THERE BE LIGHT!, and so the great orb of the sun appears in the sky. There is no night, yet, nor are there stars or moons.

I see a large box, it is void of details but it looks fitting for a new world to start. A bright light shines down upon it.

[Terrahex]

Poom!!! a sun!!! yay... since it's started, I make a mainland.

EDIT: the mainland is just basically a plain, devoid of life and creativity.

Plant the seed of all life deep in the oceans.

A massive volcano thrusts forth from the ocean, spewing magma hundreds of feet into the sky.

Some of the magma flies so high that it escapes orbit, forming a ring of dust around the world through which the sun shines brightly one month out of the year.

Magma flows down the sides of the caldera, cooling as it touches the ocean and creating the first land.

too late... but nice. The dust and magma shot into the sky forms three different moons: Taurus, Libra, and Scorpio

What will the planet be called?

How about Aurora?

Send a few icy comets at the planet, thickening up the atmosphere.

i create the the fish! and i create a great marine serpent to eat the fish before they multiply too much and drink all the water in the world! the sharks and predators of the sea are this creature's offspring

The poles of the planet now named Aurora freeze, creating ice caps.

The moons crack and groan as the orbit the planet in a smoothed out box pattern, occasionally colliding with one another to create a new orbit from which the orbit the planet.

Down below on the planet the second known creatures are born from the magma and dust, these half magma half dust creatures walk around the caldera letting their bodies cool enough to make a venture down to the ocean from which they may further ogment their bodies to a water form, or any other elemental form that takes their fancy.

Lets make them alien sharks at that, with six pectoral fins total, and other alien stuff.

storm clouds flicker as the atmosphere thickens, making Aurora a suitable place for life. the clouds deliver rain and the first plants can be seen growing on the mainland and the volcanic islands
