This is me cross-posting in order to advertise a story, because I've been told it's good enough to warrant such a thing. Please come read and maybe even enjoy

Going to read it as soon as I have some time. If I liked it (or remembered to read  :P) you shall know  ;D

I really want that one as a "when". I want "grubs", and "virgin woman" to turn into a dragon. and monkey children to suddenly sprout wings. And I want the Dwarven Mutant Academy to only gain their powers upon reaching puberty. I also have a whole host of odd creatures that only make sense if I divide them into children and adults.

Also, tadpoles.

I'm gonna throw this into my favorites list cause I don't have the time to read it now.

Sounds promising though, I love Lovecraft and I love DF :)

This inspired me to hurry with "Lovecraftian Monsters" release for Genesis. Good read! :D

Awesome.  The descriptions of the engravings really jump out as "THIS is what a masterpiece engraving is like".
Stereoscopic engravings.  XD

Very nice description of HFS as well, and nice theory about HFS random demons being corrupted dwarves!

This is about as long as the term paper I should be writing so I'll bookmark it and revisit (:

Amazing! Superbly written, and brings out a lot of what HFS should be, nameless terror and spreading corruption.

Is wonderful.

ok now I read it. And you know I liked it. A lot. Really really a lot. Like, a profusion of abundance of lotness of liking.... Ok let me stop with the idiocy here.

It is an impressive work, the descriptions of the dwarven crafts are impressive and the overall story of Besmarkezat is intruging, although my adjectives don't make justice to your work at all. It is fantastic.

Besmarkezat

Pulleydanger?
It was based on an actual map and that was the name of the fortress situated in the mountains beyond a glacier. The names are all actual places in one map. A map where elves are extinct.

And thanks everyone for the praise. I write for the enjoyment of others so I'm glad it entertained you.

So I printed out your story and finally got to read it.

I really liked it.
Here some detailed thoughts (warning: also contains spoilers to Lovecraft storys):

Overall I really enjoyed your story, it was a good read and I'd recommend it to any fellow DF and/or Lovecraft fan.

Have you written other horror stories yet?
