The Regulatory Bureaucracy Game
« on: May 25, 2010, 01:45:25 pm »

Hello, and welcome to my first Forum Game. I've noticed a forum trend (not reading the thread) and a public sector trend (lets regulate everything, who needs laws and legislative process!) and decided to combine them into a fun little game to teach us all a lesson in big, unrestrained government; Regulatory Bureaucracy! The object of this game is to make rules about posting and catch posters who do not follow all the rules. Your post should contain either a new rule, an accusation of a breach, discussion of a breach, ect. You may not post more than one new rule at a time, however, you may post as much other play as needed. Please stay on topic. Keep in mind that rules and regulations are made to be added upon, so if a slight problem arises with player conduct, trolls or off-topic posting, REGULATE IT. To get started, here are five rules.

1. All rules must be numbered.
2. No rule may be devised so as to invalidate all attempts to post.
3. The OP is to be referred to as the Party Chairman and he may amend, veto, repeal or reinstate a rule at any time.
4. Allegations of a rule breach are to be put to vote with its proposed punishment, and the first five subsequent posters voting Yea or Nay shall determine, through majority, the validity of the allegation.
5. All posts must end in the phrase "Glory to the Party Chairman!" in centered bold face at the bottom of the post.

Glory to the Party Chairman!

I like the haiku
They are pretty fun to write
Vote "nay" and keep them.

The tormenting rule
I am more indifferent towards
And choose not to vote.

I reopen the democracy.
