Imagine Soldat + TF2 + Planes, and then you have altitude.

This game is surprisingly a lot of fun, and I believe going quite cheap £7 here currently. Its a very very interesting games, it has stall mechanics, 5 types of planes with 3 types of weapons per plane to be used with an extra 6 perks to choose from. Giving you a total combination of 135 different play styles.

Currently my favourite is the Loopy, its the starting plane but when it has lockon missiles you can hardly ever miss. Drawbacks its really weak and has terrible ammunition capacity.

The Explodat is my next favourite, it can lay air mines (that are magnetic i believe) and can fire missiles that you can remotely detonate. So, anyone else play?

Also I think we should get a server sorted for this, since they can be run on home PC's easy peasy... huh...

Edit: Even Umiman thinks it fun, and thats saying something.

I have been playing it recently, got it cheap through Steam. Lots of fun! I totally suck, but that doesnt bother me.

Sure but inside the cockpit the pilot totally has huge breasts. There's even an .ini file where you can modify the cup size and so forth.

I love the Biplane. Once I got the recoiless guns upgrade its all I fly, loitering around the top of the map, spotting a guy below, swooping down for a quick bounce, then using my momentum to return to the loitering altitude. Unless its a bomber in heavy armor I can kill it in one swift pass.

I found an easy way to use it's art style to make altitude maps.

I made one in an afternoon only using altitude's editor and two image editors, one of them MSpaint.

Unfortunately, I *still* don't have a forwarded port, so I can't host it for you, but if you want to try it, I can send it, the editor(non-downloadable, but editable) version, and the raw art assets in various states of assembly.

Re-using the art I have, you could make one in an hour or two...
