Nostalgia for the past and Apprehension for the future
« on: May 25, 2010, 10:42:51 am »

Some may say this would go in the life advise, but I don't think so since i'm not asking for any help with my life but rather I'm discussing how others feel about their own past and how they view the future.

Now what brings on this question you may ask? Well I was browsing a website I hadn't visited in awhile, http://www.game-voyeur.com/# to be specific, and a video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bv-EA3WEImk came on that I haven't seen in a long while. The video struck a cord. I'm at the point in my own life where I have just finished High School (literally less than 3 hours ago I finished it) and I have a future to look forward to.

While I'm not afraid of this future I look on at it with more than just a little apprehension and unease since I don't really know what to expect. I know Boot Camp will be a change up for me compared to my normal day to day life, but still looking ahead feels like I'm looking down into a black pit that menaces of spikes that scintillate with many colors that makes a grim yet beautiful scene all in one.

Now as to the actual subject of this post. This video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bv-EA3WEImk is what sparked all these thoughts off, and I'm curious to hear what it sparks in other people. Young, old, those who have scene it, those who haven't scene it, etc.

Oh wait, "insane" doesn't work on this forum.
Crap, can't think of an alternative.
