Turn 6

Quote from: smj
So, am I a dwarven Orc now and does that mean Sargoth will get alcohol immunity or all orcs get that? lolz

Flintus isn't having much luck, heh.

After reading the letter, ask whats the deal with the crazy guy or if he is 'paid protection' ((We could either leave him there or chuck him into the river or something)).

Afterwards, tell Sargoth and Adelle about the letter thingy that the Innkeeper gave me.

Not sure how we'll tell Flintus and Kilakan though as they aren't within earshot and my character is not going to yell like a town crier.

Edit: Posting the message obviously, since I want to share it. Also, I fixed up the spelling a bit for you.

the barkeep's letter reads

To whom it may concern
You will occasionaly find small groups of random people entering your inn, these people are the lucky "winners" of the silent lottery. They have been drugged and their memories have been further hazed by magic. They are part of a social experiment to see what happens when you throw random people into a survival situation. If they ask for directions send them down the hill to the old city, it will be worth your while. And if you don't ....... well we dont need to go into that.
Signed
Anonymous.

After Sargoth comments on it, ask the bartender if he has any idea who sent the letter to him and whether there are any shady people that he has dealt with before ((like the Mob for example)).

(4+1) The "crazy guy" is just a patron, who dispises elves, he thanks you for patching the man up, and understands that it was the man's fault, as the man is a regular patron, he WILL pay up eventualy.  "Although, he could be the guy that the person in the letter sent to keep an eye on me to make sure im doing what im told, but i doubt it, its not likely some1 liek that would pick a fight with you"

Ater Sargoth pukes at the barkeeps feet, you ask him if he has any idea who ent the letter. (2+1) "I dont know who they are, they bring groups like you in a black helecopter, that means thier pretty high up if they got one of those, what with most vehickles dying during the manastorms." the barkeep letts out with a little tao to the nose. "I can tell you this though, if i dont do what im told they threatened me with a fate worse than death" http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FateWorseThanDeath

Quote from: Paranatural
I comment on the letter, "If 'they' want us in the old city, then that tells me that that's a reason not to go to it. Hell, we're obviously all armed and not exactly meek individuals, they probably want us to recover artifacts from the past for them. We come out and wham, we're drugged again. Screw that." Then I ask the bartender where the order side of the road leads to.

(1) You were going to ask the barkeep a question, but it seems you cant hold as much liquour as you thought. (4), The barkeep understands well enough, instead of getting pissed off, he hands you a rag and tells you to clean, you spend the rest of the turn doing said cleaning.

Quote from: RNG
Erm... I guess I talk about the letter while playing with my chemicals some more.

"So we're here as some sort of... experiment? There is some guy out there playing with us? I don't like this one bit...

Well... The way I see it, we have two choices. Since whatever is in that city is obviously going to try and kill us, we can stay away from that place and... well, I guess the only thing we could do is try to start a new life. Or, we could see exactly what waits for us down there... I must admit, I am curious. "

You randomly shoot youre mouth off while playing with your chemicals (?), You are MOST pleased with the results, and put them in a sealed, airtight container. (1), mabey you should not have been shooting your mouth off, as you put youre chemicals back, you accidentaly spill youre remaining white phosporus. (you have no "white" phosphorous (the kind that ignites on contact with oxygen) any more, and that section of the inn is ablaze). You attempt to controll the fire (4), you quickly mix some chemicals, and blessed carbondioxide gas floods over the fire, snuffing it out.

Quote from: Flintus
Manually reload the crossbow and then let the innkeeper have it. This is Assuming he does not have a shotgun anymore.
Perception (2), you fail to notice kilakan holding the innkeepers shotgun, thus foiling your intragroup warmongering, initiative(4), youu try to peek your head back into the inn, the inkeeper does not notice you, you ask damaig to fix youre crossbow (4), when the inkeeper realizes that you are friends (well he thinks you are), he takes back his death threat from you, he also admits its more likely th unconcious mans fault anyway. (4+1), Damaig fixes youre crossbow while speaking to the barkeep, (sanity  1), damaig decides it needs a bit of upgrading, (4), but with him distracted by the inkeep, you manage to retreave youre crossbow before he makes it unrecognisable

(note the sanity checks are imposed by being a tinker, and only count when making something or fixing something, for a non tinker).

Quote from: kilakan
I say we head down there, from an OOC point of view, it's probably the story's destination that wolfchild has in mind, and if we try and leave they will probably drug us again and drag us down there anyways, better to play along until we meet them, and I can rip their heads off.
Use animal senses to find if there's anyone outside the Inn, or in the surrounding area, try and sneak up on anyone I find (excluding other players.)

Perception(4) if it was anyone else they probably woulda stayed hidden, but they forgot to cloud youre nose along with the rest of youre senses, (5) you quickly change, pissed off at being fooled and pounce on the unsuspecting mook. (1 this does not count as an unarmed attack) you miss him and land with your face between his legs, prime position for him to cripple you (perception/intuition 6) he noices that you were most definately trying to pounce on him, he deciddes to shout out for help, forgetting that he is on his own (players perception as a ggroup 5), every player hears the shout and the man's mental powers stop functioning on you as everyone locks onto him, this shout also gives killakan the cnace to get up (3+1), hea cant resist taking a slash at the man, (2), who can't dodge out of the way of a lycanthrope that close, (1), youre claws rip into his clothing, hitting a small piece of metal, you swear and pull youre hand away. (Youre left hand/pay is in pain, -1 to all rolls involving it)

OK guys i hopeyou like your turn, and kilakan before you ask, you can still use the gun while changed.

Edit: oops forgot statuses, fixing.

I think you meant Damaig, not Sargoth.

Oh, I see what you're doing.

Should I assume that everybody (besides the Innkeeper and the unconscous human) went and dogpiled on top of the young mage?

Clamp down on his neck with my mouth (while changed) and pin him to the ground, don't kill him, just squeeze his throat shut if he tries to cast a spell.
Grrr, guys get out here!  I got another one!

I really should stop spilling flammable and/or corrosive substances.

Resume playing with chemicals.

This is fun!

jaguar's have very large mouths used to pin prey... like all big cats, are you saying that I don't actually become a jaguar?  I'd like to know what I can actually do while changed then, like can i climb using my claws?  If I can't then
Change back, remove shotgun, and press it to his head, if he tries any spells, blow him away.

sorry got my facts wrong, you can pin him, but you wont deal as much damage as with your claws, you are still humanoid though. A humanoid jaguar

They don't have cheeks though, which is probably preventing you from doing that.

Anyways, since you didn't say that we actually are on top of the mage....

Rush out to investigate what's going on and help Kilakan subdue him if neccesary. Although he is already freaking out, so I think Kilakan probably has it handled. Anyways, help escort the guy into the Inn, he likely has answers to whats going on, and has to answer why he is messing with us.

I'm confused. Who is 'the mook' and why are we fighting him? Is that the bartender? The human?
