OK, Times UP

Turn 19

Quote from: RAM
The world just isn't safe with crazed savages like that running around. I thank the innkeeper and set off to find this beast and teach it a thing or two about civilised society.

Track the thief, following the trail left by its life energy, or trying to sense its mind, or, hmmm, tracking down my own blood would be a body thing. If magic doesn't have a way I will just try to follow its footprints or something...

{4} You see figures downhill of you, you decide to follow them, you find a group of 5 people facing off aginst 8, but you do not see that feline monsrosity.

Quote from: smj
@Wolfchild: I checked back on page one and I did buy a shield. So it is actuallly a shield, not a buckler. If you think it would be better for me to have a buckler rather than a shield, okay. Going to have to fix the currency left over though.

Unsheathe my blade, point it at the ambushers, and yell at them "You there! If you're looking to rob us, you've picked the wrong group!". Don't look too aggressive, but be ready for a fight.

{3} Well the good news, You don't Provoke them, he bad?, you don't scare em off either, at least you have you're blade in hand

Quote from: kilakan
Calmly remove two daggers, keep them at my sides, and smile wickedly.  If one of the ambushers attacks us, throw one dagger at him, then charge him and knock him down using wrestling.
{4} You draw 2 dagger's, then ready you're-self to fight
{4} The ambushers give a small pause when seeing that, not much though

Quote from: RNG
Coat a couple more darts with solution 'a' and ready my crossbow if they attack.

{6} You manage to coat 3 darts, but you also get the solution into a small cut, {5} you fight it off wonderfully

Flintus: Fire at the nearest
{1} You;'re crossbow jams, no shooting for you

Paranatural: Swap to a throwing axe and be ready {2} you fumble a bit, but don't get an axe out

AMbushers {2}: whatever hey are doing, it is not attacking you, yet.

Statuses:

Spoiler: sargoth(paranatural) (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Flintus(Flintus10) (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Damaig(SMJ) (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Kilakan(kilakan) (click to show/hide)

The Inn: This inn is old, with few patrons.
Ambushers: You cant tell more about them at the moment

Ramiel should be seeing 6 (5 people plus Altos) people facing off at 8, not 5 against 8. Just letting ya know, not trying to be a nitpicker or anything.

Stand your ground with my shield in a defensive position. Lets see what they want first. Use body magic to heighten the senses and quicken my reflexes.

Grin, showing all my teeth, and ask them kindly what they want, an if they believe they are strong enough to get it.  If any moves agressively towards us, implant a dagger in his neck.

Aim my crossbow at one of the ambushers chest, but don't fire unless they move to attack.

Good god I have been unlucky... :(

Use my body magic to increase my strength and speed and draw one of my short swords ready to counter attack.

You could ask me sometime to try and fix the reloading mechanism. :)

Might be better once we get to the city and I have materials to work with, or if we end up slaughtering these guys, you could get a better crossbow off of them.

Keep my orc axe out, and bellow at them, "You want a fight, you sons of bitches? I have had a bad fucking day. I don't know where I am, some yahoo froze my goddamn foot, and we've already killed a couple of motherfuckers and we were not even pissed off. So if you want a peice of this, come on! I need to fucking hit something, and your blood will taste good on my lips!"

If they attack, charge them.

Also i want to do a quick and dirty map showing big fights, but i don't know how to get it onto the post

Turn 20

Quote from: smj
Ramiel should be seeing 6 (5 people plus Altos) people facing off at 8, not 5 against 8. Just letting ya know, not trying to be a nitpicker or anything.

Stand your ground with my shield in a defensive position. Lets see what they want first. Use body magic to heighten the senses and quicken my reflexes.

{6} As you ready you're shield (going total defence is a free action and you gain a bonus to all dodge, block and parry rolls), you improve you're reflexes and senses, but you loose controll of the magic {luck 3} It burns up the rest of you're energy, you're modifications are done, but they are also visible.

You're Eyes mutate, improving thier perceptiveness and allowing them to see better in the dark, but the pupils are now reptilian slits

Gained Enhanced Eyes, Slit Pupiled Eyes

You're legs change, the muscles reconfigure and rewire, you are forced into a walking on you're toes style of movement, still it improves you're leg agility.

Gained: Enhanced Legs and Altered Legs

You have also drained all you're body energy

Quote from: kilakan
Grin, showing all my teeth, and ask them kindly what they want, an if they believe they are strong enough to get it.  If any moves agressively towards us, implant a dagger in his neck.

{3} You attemp't to intimidate you're foes, but they don't react, you ready to strike, gaining a +1 bonusto reaction attacks this round, you make a free throwing reaction attack against the firs foe to make a move.

Quote from: RNG
Aim my crossbow at one of the ambushers chest, but don't fire unless they move to attack.

{5} You ready you're crossbow, you will automaticaly attack the first foe to move, with a +2 bonus, no overshoots, 6 still autocrit

Quote from: Flintus
Good god I have been unlucky... :(

Use my body magic to increase my strength and speed and draw one of my short swords ready to counter attack.

Well, you would alter yourself but you have almostno body energy {3} you draw you're shorsword and ready you'reself, you get a +1 bonus to all reaction attacks this round, and the first enemy to miss you gets attacked, with no dodge allowed.

Quote from: Paranatural
Keep my orc axe out, and bellow at them, "You want a fight, you sons of bitches? I have had a bad fucking day. I don't know where I am, some yahoo froze my goddamn foot, and we've already killed a couple of motherfuckers and we were not even pissed off. So if you want a peice of this, come on! I need to fucking hit something, and your blood will taste good on my lips!"

If they attack, charge them.

{4} You intimidate them, but only so much that they gain a -1 penalty to all attacks this turn, you will automatically charge the first one to move

Quote from: RAM
Hide and watch. I am in no state to blindly confront people...

{4} you think they can't see you

Altos: Ready a concusive wave
{3} Altos draws a small amount of world energy, coalecing into his hands as a ball of compressed air

Ambushers: ATTACK
{5} Yep they attack allright
The two to the back draw what you think are bows, and let loose
{4+1/3+1} target {1/1}(target roll 1-5 being players in order of posting, 6 being altos RAM being safe) Both shooting towards SMJ Roll to dodge {1+1(defensive)+1(ready)-1(perfet shot)/2+1+1} He dodges one, but the other is too quick, roll to blocl {1+1(defensive)+1(Shield rather than buckler)+1(Total defence)} and just gets his shield in place.

Seeing this, Kilakan throws at one of the archers {6+1} it flies end over end, uneringly {5+1} the archer dodges out of the way, but falls over as he does so, kilacan does a somersult propelled by the might of his throw {3} Landing on his ass but not taking any damage.

Addele Shoots the other victim {3+1+2} the shot is perfectly aimed {2+1-1} The target is not so fast on his feet as he is with his bow Critical dodge {4+1} it does not hit a vulnerable spot however, {3} it thunks into his torso, missing anything important and not doing any real damage. {1} The target is paralyzed instantly. {2} addele is too gobsmacked at her shot to reload her crossbow

{2} the next closest foe gestures his hands like Altos, but fails {5}altos reacts, launching his concusive wave at the world mage, {3-1} the other mage is hit smack on by the small concusive wave {1} Critical Dodge{1}, He is turned into a red smear over the landscape

{3}{6target} Altos reacts to a sudden intursion into his mind (mind magic on a mind mage is very risky, ANY fail allows retaliation {6} the other mind mage screams {2} Failing to force back altos, he turns into a gibbering wreck

The four in the front charge, one, with a greatblade charges sargoth, and is charged in turn {1} he trips over a rock as he nears sargoth, {2+1+1} Sargoth Swings his axe at the downed man {2-1} Critical dodge {4} damage {4+1} Tearing into his back, not Quite killing him, but he is bleeding hard and hes back is a  mangled wreck

The next one attacks Flintus {4} his club is on a good trajectory, {3+1+1} but it is still dodged effortlessly. {6+1+1} a quick stabbing blow from dlintus's short sword strikes the man, critcal dodge {2-1} {1} (means back to normal damage) {2} but he glances off a ribcage, causing nothing but pain.
he other two stand back, affraid to get too close.

Remain hidden, attempt to sense if there are any minds around other than those in the battle.

You can draw text maps using the code or tt tags to keep all the text the same size:

......A.....
............
..T......T..
~~c~~~~~~~~~

Instead of:
......A.....
............
..T......T..
~~c~~~~~~~~~

If you have a graphics file you can upload it to somewhere like Imageshack and then post it in img tags using the the little portrait icon just above the far left smiley. Just copy the internet address of the picture itself into a post, highlight it, and click on the portrait icon. Or follow the instructions from wherever you upload it too...
