throw the spear at any injured ones (pref an injured male) failing that, a baby is fine. Finish it off with the sickle, then butcher the remains. See if we can't make any javelins using bone tips.
We have two dead Boar's in the cave allready. Nothing is butchered or rotting yet. So maybe Tear the Tusk off of it and attempt to tie it to a stick and tie it on there with vine from a tree?
Idk I am throwing Idea's out there.

Make a Bola from tusks and hide from the two Boars. Use Vines from outside, and also investigate the ramp leading up above the hill with one of the bats...

Leave food out for the deer. Don't bother them (yet).

WE SHALL HAVE A STAG AS OUR STEED

Butcher the boars, then. But try to capture a deer first.

When we butcher the boars, I guess we should try to attract wolves with the offal (random entrails, excess meat) and make a trap for PET WOLVES

You forgot a detail: Dorfs get webbed in GCS webs and trigger traps. Right now we have some 12 caged dwarves, including you.

I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this fort any more. Migrants arrive, they die for some reason, the fort is flooded for another reason, then dwarves go mad, more dwarves die and I'm just laughing in my distress.

No, stags are better mounts. The horns make them superior chargers, while wolves can follow alongside us and pounce on any survivors of our charge.
