Back in Europe the economic prosperity allowed some small refits of the main army, the Conscripts were relieved their places taken by a unit of French and Spanish Expatriates, and a unit of German Exiles, many of them veterans of various wars across Europe.
As well as the exile units, four units of inexperianced foot units were relieved and in their place two units of Grenadiers, and two units of elite swiss infantry joined the army.
A unit of militia cavalry, veterans of the French and Bavarian conflicts was also relieved, in their place hussars were added.
