You cell divide, it takes a rather long time, luckily nothing interesting happens, other than the sudden appearance of a black dot.
One cell is sent off to investigate the unknown object whilst the other stays put and heals.
The cell discovers that its some sort of rock, but unknown to the cell, it was actually a meteorite that is emitting radiation..
