Turn 15: The Trench Run Begins
Repair Barricade.
[6] With your help, Barricade is fully repaired and technically fully prepared for battle. At the moment, however, he is exhausted and shakes off all attempts to rouse him. Considering he is your CO, you decide not to press the matter. (+1 to Repair, level gained)
Find the computer systems, see if I can boot things up and hack into it to find any useful information.
[3] You search around the factory and find a terminal that looks unscathed. You open it up and immediately come across a very good firewall. Obviously Cybertronian in origin. You cannot seem to get through it, but you think you might have an inkling on how to get through it.

[6] You spend some time thinking, and decide that if applied strategically you could armor yourself and still be fairly maneuverable. Ratchet confirms your beliefs upon asking him, and offers to perform the upgrade himself.
attempt to repair Barricade, then rummage through the ACC slag for anything interesting. Go help Lightning Edge with the terminal and cargo if there isn't.
[5] You manage to finish the repairs on Barricade, bringing him back to full strength. Still offline, though. [5] You decide to look through the ACC remains and find parts to construct a new blaster. Quick to get to work, you weld it to your arm in a manner so that it will serve as an under-chassis cannon in vehicle mode. (Level gained in Blaster Use)
Well, he hasn't killed me yet...that's a good sign, but why? I'm partially responsible for the death of one of his men. That'll probably change in an instant if I don't tell the truth. Optimus isn't stupid; he'll know if I'm lying.
"The cube...yes, I remember. Our great leader, Megatron, took it from Jolt's lifeless shell." I pause for a moment, pondering on what I should say next. "Why do you resist?" I suddenly ask. "Why, when you know that we greatly outnumber and outgun you? I admit, these organics have impressive weapons, but they cannot hope stop Megatr-...us." I can't believe I let that slip, but it's true. I wanted to believe that I fought because I genuinely embraced Megatron's philosophy; that we are all-powerful, and every being that is not with us should be enslaved or destroyed. However, I realize that I really served under him out of fear, fear that I would be tortured and killed if he or any of his lieutenants were dissatisfied with my performance. They would make sure nobody would remember me, too. The Autobots don't seem to share that attitude. They're starting to appeal to me.
Prime stares at you with a solemn face. You try, but cannot read what he is thinking. Finally, he speaks.
"We resist because it is right. Megatron seeks to deny all living beings the inalienable right of freedom. The Autobots stand for that very freedom. We fight, even to the death, because we must, for we know that as long as we stand, the people of this planet can live on. With us, and with the humans who fight with us, the fate of the world rests."
He has no more questions to ask you, and informs Bulkhead that since he was responsible for your capture, he will be your guard. Bulkhead nods and takes you down several levels into the inner sections of the base, and places you in a cell. He sits down and relaxes, aware that he's going to be there for a long time.

[5] After some quick modifications, you accomplish your goal and can now hover. (+1 to Repair, level gained)
I stand watch, intently scanning the surroundings for any kind of activity. At the same time I attempt to engineer a way to be able to give my turrets independent, or remote-controlled capability, so I can be "present" even when I can't fit into the space involved.
[6] You manage to produce a program that allows your turrets to detach from your shell and hover about, controlled by you from a distance. While useful, the turrets are fragile when off of your form. (+1 to Repair, Independent Turrets gained!)
Start repairing myself.
[3+1] You manage to relieve yourself of some of the damage, but you're still in considerable disrepair considering your opponents were glorified organics.
Drive recklessly by all the Autobots to Optimus, when I arrive, Transform, break through the wall and yell "N'aybody move!", Harry Batt style.
[6] With EXTREME luck, you manage to find a small crevice in the canyon by the factory, and notice tracks. This must be where the Autobots went... you transform and pursue after them. (+1 to Suicidal Tendencies, level gained!)
Hack into the humans' satellite network.
[1] In short, you can't. In long, the humans counter-hack you in an attempt to gain another unwitting ally in the war against Decepticons. [6] After a few intense moments, the feeling of agony goes away. But you can't quite figure out what they did to you. Something feels... off.
Decepticon Actions:Zzz...
Barricade has terrible nightmares that somehow, Lightning Edge has failed him. This must be what Megatron feels like every waking moment.
Autobot Actions:Wait.
Bulkhead walks away for a moment and returns with, of all things, a canvas. He begins to paint, though Thundercrash cannot see what.
