Turn 28: Flying Robots Afraid to Fly

[4+1] You manage to make some quick repairs, keeping yourself alive for the moment. (+1 to Repair, level gained)
"Huh. Megatron's dead. Who woulda thought?"
I fix up anyone I can inside the bubble.
[5+2 You manage to fix up one of the grunts, suffering from a wound dangerously close to his spark. All you can do other than that is wait for the blast... (+1 to Repair)
I hear Ratchet's transmission after a few long moments. "Damn it!" I look at Blue Jay. "We're getting the hell out of this city. Double time it, and stay close!" I transform into my vehicle mode and zoom off to the west. Along the way, I see Air Raid fall out of the sky.
"Oh no." I transform back into bot mode and stop to address Blue Jay. I don't know his name, so I obviously don't address him by it. "Hey, pal, listen; I saw one of our boys fall out of the sky not too far from here. I'm going after him. Go on without me. Keep heading west, no matter what. Now, go. Go!" With that, I transform again and speed towards Air Raid's position. If I reach him, I will attempt to get him moving again. "Hey! I ain't leaving you to die here. Now come on!"
You do that.
Leaving Blue Jay to find his own way, you drive up the Air Raid and attempt to get him back on his feet. [4] Luckily, he doesn't need your help. He stands back up, a bit shakily, before nodding to you in thanks and taking off again, flying away from the city and leaving you to find a way out .
Seeing Megatron fall dead, he considered for a brief second what his loyalties should be now and the state of the war, deciding that if he were to join the Autobots, helping one of their own would be a start. Then he shouted at Contrail and Skywarp, "Skywarp, get outta here before the EMP hits! Hey Autobot Jet! I'm calling a truce between us, theres an EMP blast that will hit the city in a minute or less! If you take shelter under the bubbles, I'll try to convince the other decepticons to not try and kill you!" Then fly towards one of the bubbles that aren't up yet at full speed.
[4] You manage to find a bubble, and duck in, telling them to let in the Autobot. They look at you like you're crazy, but you present your case. [6] The quintet of Decepticons bicker amongst themselves before agreeing, leaving the bubble open for the Autobot. (+1 to Speech, level gained)
While waiting, recalibrate my weapons so a can both hit targets AND damage them.
[1] You create two brand new guns. One capable of hitting targets, the other capable of damaging them... wait...
Thinking that codespark is probably being honest, but not wanting to go into a hive of decepticons i kick up my engine to max speed and head out of the city
You thank the Decepticon, but speed off anyway. [3+1] You escape the city and head off in the direction of the other Autobots.
Interface with the mini-con, try to remember his name, persuade him to form a permanent link with me.
[4] After talking with the Mini Con you learn that its name is Stinger. You wonder why, but convince him to form a link with you. He hops onto your leg, attaching to it. You feel your weapons power up; as long as Stinger is attached you have a +1 to attacks, armor penetration, and damage.

[1] You fail to get your ass out, instead plummeting to the ground in a tumbling mess, [5] though you manage to avoid hurting yourself.
Repair self and attempt to integrate that experimental plasma better. These weapons aren't doing enough damage.
[2] You fail to repair yourself, [4] though with some effort you figure out how to put some extra power into your blasters, doing more damage. (+1 to Blaster Damage)
You turn to Starscream and make your joke. He returns the favor with a grin and the phrase "Indeed it does."

Barricade sits down, waiting for the inevitable, though still boringly long-off strike to hit.
Imagine life as Ruler
He begins to picture what crown he will wear. He wonders if he should wear a crown. It's a bit too gaudy for a military leader. Maybe just a new layer of golden paint, to accent his more regal qualities.
Maybe set up a satellite?
With the sudden realization that they have a chance to survive, the remaining two get to work on finding the parts for the satellite. [4] They get together the bare necessities, and get to work.
Enter bubble
He follows Codespark into the bubble, alerting the Decepticons that the Autobot decided just to leave. They nod and close the bubble, trapping the seven inside and shielding them from doom.

He gets closer to finalizing the calculations, though there's been some difficulty setting up the shot.
Autobot Actions:Escape
Now on his own, the Autobot attempts to find his way out of the city. [6] He heads west, just like Thundercrash told him, and runs into Bulkhead and Hot Rod, joining the pair as they escape with the military convoy.

[1] Silverbolt is suddenly and utterly terrified by the thought of being so high up, in the event he fell. He freezes in the air, even getting closer to the ground in case he does fall.

Air Raid gives up his own shot at freedom to help out his teammate. [6] With some talking, he manages to convince his friend that flying is preferable to dying. He drags him along as he flies away from the city, [6] escaping with plenty of time to spare.
