Turn 25: Loads and Loads of Characters
Finish off codespark, not sparing ordinence, also attemp to retake hacking superiority
[1] You utterly fail to gain hacking superiority, and remain in the dark of the battle around you. You decide that you'll settling on killing a Decepticon. [3+1][5][6] [4] You come up behind Codespark and fire off a pair of missiles, along with machine guns for good measure. In a hail of fire the Decepticon is torn up, only staying alive through some lucky repairs he had made a moment ago.
Do repairs on the fly.
Ditch Ironhide, fire a bolt at him to rain some rubble on him to cover my escape, and weave through the buildings and rubble to outmaneuver Contrails missiles, try to 'guide' the missiles at the Autobots (including Ironhide if he is an available target), and shoot at contrail as well. Keep up the hacking superiority at the same time (meaning keep the decepticon frequencies open and the autobot frequencies jammed), shout for backup to take out Contrail.
[6] In a stroke of luck, you repaired just enough to ensure that you took no damage from the last volley from that Autobot. You decide to leave Ironhide in the dust and shoot at a building to his side. [3+3] It comes tumbling down, burying him in rubble. You attempt to find a route that ensures you'll dodge any further shots. [5] You begin to weave through various alleys low to the ground, and the Autobot can barely keep up. (-1 to any attacks made by Contrail against Codespark next round)
You fire back at the Autobo with a quick spin. [2+3][1] Your shots fail to make an impact on his armor, and you instead call for backup. You are informed that Skywarp will be on the way, and to hold out a bit longer.
I have my mini-bot attach itself to Prime while I fight my way to the south-west, taking out any grunts that get in the way.(edit for clarification: use my sword, not my gun.)
[1] You inform your bot to stick to Optimus, but he spots it as soon as it approaches and blasts it out of the air. So much for that... You instead head south-west, [4] encountering a single Autobot. He stands much taller than you and wields a hammer and an energon shield. Against your better judgment, you attack. [3+2][4][4+1] You slash at his leg under the shield, sending a jolt of electricity through him.
KILL EVERYTHING
You shove your attackers off of you and take a shot at each. [2+3-1][5][4] Blue Jay is hit in the foot by a single blast, but the damage is mild.
[5+3][2] Thundercrash's heavy armor absorbs the shot meant for him, and he emerges with only a few scratches.
Cover Codespark and attempt to do some basic repairs on him.
In a VERY cool move, you transform several thousand feet into the air, plummeting to the earth below. You hit the ground with a crash, knocking down dozens of buildings. You stop Codespark long enough to attempt to repair him. [6] You get him back to maximum strength and send him on his way, giving him back the time he lost by firing at Contrail. [1] Sadly, you do little but force the Autobot to take evasive maneuvers for a moment. (+1 to Repair, level gained)
get a lock on the trio of jets and send some a2a missiles at them
[4] You manage to acquire one of the Autobot jets in your sights and let loose with missiles. [6+2][4][2] Your shot fails to do any damage, but gets the Autobot's attention. He turns and flies in your direction, and you recognize him as the Autobot Silverbolt. Considering he's a jet with a fear of heights, this should be easy enough.
Turrets converge on Ultra Magnus, I swing my hacksaws forward, trying to behead either Magnus or his hammer.
Each turret takes its own turn blasting away at the Autobot officer. [4+3][5][5];[5+3][3];[3+3][3] Only one manages to do any damage, getting in a solid blow just under his chestplate. (+1 to Blaster Use)
You, meanwhile, engage at melee range. [2] You take a swing, but he avoids your slow attack easily enough.
Transform into copter mode, fly into the air, unleash hell on the jet Autobots.
You rise into the air, seeing that one of the jets is already preoccupied with another Decepticon. You instead focus on the slower looking of the remaining two. [4+4][4][2] You nearly clip his wing, but he seems to stay aloft and charge at you. You are alerted over the radio that this is Air Raid.
I will keep laying a serious smackdown on Band Kannon. Maybe give him a faceful of machine gun fire, too. HE WILL DIE.
[2+2][4][6] With your weapons, you decide to yourself that there's no way you can lose. In accordance to this, you give Band Kannon a world full of horrible pain. His motors begin to falter as you crush various parts of his body with carefully timed blows. In a few more strikes this mad-bot will be no more.
Decepticon Actions:Kill Grimlock
Still trying to escape from Melee range, Barricade strikes out with his own weapon. [1] He fails to do any damage to the Dinobot and attempts to escape. [2+2] He transforms into cruiser mode and takes off, the Dinobot on his tail. He makes numerous turns, barely escaping. He makes for Band Kannon's position by City Hall as a regroup point, sending a message to his team that they should meet back there as soon as they can.
Kill Prime!
Megatron rises to his feet, ignoring his perceived pain of being touched by such an insignificant speck. "I am Megatron! I do NOT surrender! EVER."
He charges forward with his mace, making a swing with pure rage coursing through him. [6+5][1] As he swings Optimus intercepts the blow and throws the weapon into the air, leaving the Decepticon wide open. [3+5][4][4+4] Optimus Prime swings with his energon axe, cutting even further into the gash in Megatron's side. Sparks fly from it as the Decepticon leader groans in pain.
Optimus looms over him, axe at the ready. "And that is why you fall."
Every bot for himself
Starscream fires a single blue flare into the sky and flies off towards City Hall. Most Decepticons spot it and begin going about various tasks. His team continues its fight against their counterparts.
[3+1][4][6] The chopper lets loose a few missiles, decimating Magnus' bot. He lies on the ground slowly dying.
[5+1][2] The car is less fortunate, and fails to make a dent.
[1] The tank does worst of all, failing to even hit his target, let alone harm it.
Fight Hot Rod and Bulkhead
The Crane makes its move attempting to kill the Autobot Hot Rod. [4+2][6][6] With a swing, the hook impales Hot Rod through his chest, swinging him up to the third floor of a nearby parking garage. The Autobot crawls for cover as the Steamroller attempts to knock down the building. [6] With a few blows in the basement, the entire parking garage collapses, bringing the injured Autobot within reach of his foes.
The Dump Truck, meanwhile, struggles against Bulkhead. [3+3][2] He attempts to outpush the Autobot, but Bulkhead has size and weight on his size to the point that strength is hardly part of the equation. He utterly fails in his attempts. (Crane gains +1 to Melee Weapons)
Autobot Actions:Kill Band Kannon
The Camaro opens up with a pair of MGs, riddling Band Kannon with bullets. [4+2][1] His armored foe takes no damage, however.
Kill the Dump Truck quickly.
Bulkhead sees that Hot Rod is in danger, and decided to take off the protoform gloves, so to speak. He charges the Dump Truck with all his strength. [4+4][5][6] He lifts the Constructicon straight up and slams him into the wall, doing extensive damage. It's on its last leg, literally, as the other came off from the impact. (+1 to Melee Weapons)
New orders
As Ratchet continues fighting the Constructicons, he sees a green flare go up near the water. He realizes that they need him over there immediately. However, he resolves to stay, only to be shouted at by Hot Rod, fighting the Steamroller at close range. He says that he can handle the Constructicons, but Ratchet is needed elsewhere. He nods silently, and takes off to where he is needed, leaving his friends to their fates.
Finish Megatron
As Optimus raises his axe, Megatron looks up at him in anger. "So you would strike down a harmless foe? So much for mercy from the great Optimus Prime."
"Take a look at the hell you've made, Megatron. You're hardly harmless."
[2+5][6][5+4] With a swipe Megatron is caught just below the neck, Optimus' axe catching in the shredded metal as Megatron is thrown in an arc across the park. He hits the ground with a slam, sending dirt and metal in every direction. He can't even stand yet from the disorientation.
Fight off the Steamroller
Hot Rod bursts from the wreckage, sword in hand, and slices at the Steamroller Decepticon's face. [4+4][4][6] The blow nearly splits it in two as the Steamroller stumbles away. (+1 to Melee Weapons)
Fight
[5+5][2] As Ultra Magnus swings at Bulwark, the Decepticon moves backwards, and the clumsy Autobot keeps swinging, hitting his Humvee ally by mistake. [4+5][2] He keeps going, and hits his second car. [3+5][4][5] Both take extensive damage.
The remaining car takes a shot at his Decepticon foe, [6+1][2] but fails to do damage. He curses his ineffectual weapon.
Fire!
Silverbolt charges at Lightning Edge, opening up with his guns. [3+3-1][1] The rounds just bounce off of the jet's armor.
Fire!
[6+2][2] Air Raid faces the same problem as his squadronmate Silverbolt. Despite his best efforts, he can't penetrate Hacksaw's armor.
