besides less fat means less blood loss from firing a fire imp or a dragon tree.

Tissue thickness actually does matter.  It was an explicit goal for this release (I'll provide quotes if you want them) and it's one of the few combat effects that works pretty well right now.

AS in strength and agility, not skills,

If so you can just let his strength rust really low so he has no muscles then just sit there and rob some stores for food and just keep cramming stuff down your throat untill you get fat.

There's actually a speed penalty for being fat, but then decent adventurers have h4x stats anyway.

My adventure who was exploring caves I also tried to make him fat too!

After a while of eating food a bought (I bought alot!) his discription went from "he has a broad body with almost no fat on it" to "he has a broad body with little fat"

Takes a LARGE ammount of food tho.

Now he just has a broad body, So in theory its possible to become a complete fatass, as long as you have enough food.

Ah, yes. The greedy semimegabeasts of 40d have nothing on those from 0.31 - since they never get killed, they continue stealing food and booze for over a thousand years. The fact that cave sites are only 1 region tile (48x48) doesn't help much - if they were 3x3, it'd at least spread out the loot a little bit. You'd also expect them to, you know, eat and drink some of that stuff, but apparently not.
