I'm not exactly sure how 'proof' works; in Canada it's just a percentage. From wikipedia it looks like it's just the percentage times two. Drank about half a litre of 35% vodka in an hour, straight, so I guess it was 70-proof. Wasn't too much but was certainly enough for a few hours of chaos.

Yeah, restarting is fine. The fort has an axe and a pick, but everyone alive is really upset and there's not much food or drink left. I'm not sure what I even embarked with; I think it was just a lot of camel eye. 40d is probably best anyway as farming is way easier, and having a food source that the player doesn't have to actively focus on is a definite good thing.

So, that equates to about 14 oz of 80p, or 10-14 shots, or 3/5ths of a bottle of Absolut or Jack...in an hour. Lordy, I think I'll do three shots, wait about 30 minutes, do another 3 shots, 20 min, then one shot, and start playing. Half a bottle is about all I really need for a full night and a rather unpleasant morning. But I'm thinking to hard and I digress...

When I get around to it, I'll start up a 40d16, so we can zoom in and out on this disaster. I'll get flux, magma, and a brook, although anything fort with magma is a scary horrible idea, and would take a few years to get started. Fun for later, though.

E- Now I see why everyone was drowning XD That poor fort never had a chance

Watching. Finally Bay12 can one-up Headshoots. I think at least half of them were playing drunk.

Unfortunately, I have to get my wisdom teeth taken out in a couple of days, so I'm going to postpone any intoxicating substances until after the recovery...Hopefully I can do it near the 20th : (
