Group A and commander move up-left as far as they can go to cut down the retreating enemy
Group B yells out a war cry
Group B continues to attack.


By the way, the group that's engaged is missing 4 men from its right side.  It should be a square with one extra on top.

They got all there men, I just made it where they can attack more, maybe you didn't count the one dude that died?

What if we have 2 turns after the battle to get as many of our wounded off screen as possible, and any left on the field not held by a soldier will die and have to be replaced?
If they are heavily injured, they would have a blue background, purple means they are fighting, white means they are firing arrows, throwing stuff etc. and a Red background means they are dead.

TURN 6
Epic archery, retreating, and the wounded

Battle Report.
The Green Army quickly makes work of the remaining enemy's that are facing them, along with the Red Army. All the remaining red army chase after the retreating enemy. The Brown Army step up, take aim, and concentrate and fire there arrows, making an unbelievable kill count! the White Army are going to run there to take the heavily wounded away from the fight.(Green are over some so you can't see them) The Peasants come rushing for any last minute aid they need.


Deaths:
14-Goblin
0-Green
0-Red
0-Brown

Huh, why didn't they surrender? We slaughtered them easily.

Reform into a 2x10 line, with commander in the center of the back (3rd) line.

Reform into spear wall and boars snout. Either cheer on the commies reds or help the whites, flip a coin to decide.

i would say that Phantoms peasants get the loot after all their guys in normal clothes with nothing more than pitchforks...


1. Recover as much arrows as possible
2. Gather Goblin Corpses and form a Corpse barricade at my current position( i think for a barricade of corpses i need 3 Goblins per tile making a nine tile long barricade)
3. Position Archers in 2 Lines eight men long behind the corpse barricade. Position commander at the right end of the first line so that he stand behind the last corpse barricade on the right side

merchants also come with Barricades. There are all kinds of Barricades, right now, you have Wooden Barricades with Wooden Spikes.

im at the moment a little bit confused are we staying at our current position or are you guys retreating your soldiers back to the barricades?

If yes:
then cancel 2.order
and instead pierce the goblins on the wooden barricades and take unused spears,swords and the pitchforks Phantoms doesn't need anymore(if he takes the sword of the goblins) and try to somehow attach them to the wooden barricades -----> wooden corpse barricades with iron and wood spikes

Also, you can now move as much as you want, as it would be pointless to kill teh running away enemy, so list what you want to do before the next wave comes! (which is at night, and there is a distance you can see)

AS a random suggestion, can they set torches/fires out on the field, to help the archers with their range?

This agood game btw, keep it up!!
They need a Torch, which is available if a Merchant has any. You would be surprised what comes with the merchants. Afterall Rienvar is the only hope for the Cel'tar's. The problem is that the stuff is quite a money pincher. To completely give your entire army (and reinforcements every ten turns) an item would cost quite a lot even though it is worth it. And I can't think of a method to where you only buy it for a few. You can buy it for yourself though. This is why I figured if everyone put there money together we could upgrade everyone once at a time.

EDIT: A good method of Getting cheap-ass gear is...
1.Use gear that the enemy has that is better.
2.buy upgrades when you have the least amount of troops, as the upgrades will be less expensive.
3.Sell your gear, what is better, Air Enhanced Steel Brest plate, or some Iron Plated Boots?

How about scattering torch bearers throughout your formation? Cheaper, and still fairly effective.

They could get jumped, and some other things
