Life is hard
« on: May 22, 2010, 01:14:36 am »

I am q pc gamer. That is literally all i do.  I only care about my wife andpc gaming. I was recently layed off work so i shifted into survival mode with my finances amd shortly after my computer craped out on me.

Now that i have tons of timr i literaly have nothing to do but stare at the walls. Im going nuts. I dont have the skill to diagnose whats wrong with it at all.  I have done nothing but apply to jobs for weeks and im getting nothing back.

I dont know what to do anymore...

My current hobby is job hunting which i am failing at miserably. In some towns fast food joints require a degree....   Being board is a symptom of the greater problem of being unemployed. As far as getting a hobby.... Computer gaming is the only thing i find interesting.   But im more worried about how i am going to support my family

Wait wat. A degree in what? Working a cash register and not being lazy? I've worked those jobs man, that shit is so simple they don't have schools for it. Not to be cold, if that's really just a hyperbole for high unemployment, which is true right now and yeah, it sucks. But if you're bored and worried about making money, spend that energy trying to get a job. Two birds and all that.

I'm always curious about what the expectations of people who post this kinds of things are... What do you exactly want from the b12 community when you post this?

How does this attitude help reaching that goal?

I do spend that time job hunting.  Have applied for a few hundred jobs in 3 days. As i said no one is hiring. Me and my wife have moved in with her mom and i continue to hunt. My computer problem is just the last straw so to speek. I am worried i will lose my car and be forced to live dependently. For a long time.

Press START
Scroll down to the "OPTIONS" button
Then choose the "DIFFICULTY" tab
Set "GENERAL" to "EASY" and "INCOME" to "AUTO"

As it stands if you honestly can find NO unskilled labor, then I guess try looking somewhere else.

If you need something interesting to do, try stealing somebody's avatar on a webforum. I hear it's a barrel of laughs.

Go to your local temp agency. There is a job around you.

An attitude adjustment is in order too. Go do stuff with your wife. (Like hiking, dammit)
