Adding in chokers would be insanely cool, but I'm a bit uncertain how to do it, or even if it's possible. Probably need to utilize something like the GCS ambush triggers.

Created a new megabeast. The Tarrasque. Yes. That Tarrasque. Collosal, Immortal, (nearly) Invulnerable. The world generates only one, and it cannot breed. But woe to the poor adventurer that disturb it.

Deon: Can we add multiple breath weapons (I'm thinking solid gob spits, projectiles) to Beholders? Every weapon a different syndrome: Paralysis, Bleeding, Unconciousness, Necrosis, Fire, Web, Dust, and so on. One per eyestalk!

Hum, interesting thread.

Might I suggest considering what role you want each of these entries to play?

We now have underground animalman civs. Why not use that basic idea to have a "civ" full of casts underground. That way we can give specific roles to different casts within the civs....

Consider a civ with the main, head cast of something like an weaker version of an undead litch.

Below them is a warrior cast of strong muscled beats and a cast supporting them with weak ranged attacks.

Finally there is also a "citizen" cast.

The same thing could apply with varying levels of monsters to add a certain sense of structure as opposed to everything being a random encounter or the equivalent of one.

Also, is it possible to have premade fortresses for underground civs like goblins and humans have?

I want a neutral civilization where the character can talk, trade, sit and relax. Deep gnomes fills that purpose.
I want an evil civilization that'll most likely be hostile to you. Dark Elves or Dark Dwarves could fill this role - frankly I'd rather see the elves or goblins - great anthesis to regular dwarves.

I wish. Thats what I'm testing. They'll most likely wander around caverns, and maybe send caravans. To have a real town, we'll probably have to manually create it via fortress mode.

Currently the mod needs more plant, items, and neutral creatures.

I'm going to give Elves something worthy: Mithril.

Stronger than steel, less than adamantine, still lightweight, and silver in color. Its considered a metal, but its in fact comes from a reaction that use a tree's sap combined with silver and ashes. Said tree will grow only in good-aligned, dry environnements, probably subtterrean too. However its edge value will be low, meaning it won't be a good weapon material.

Okay guys - we need more stuff. We're missing out on good-aligned cave dwellers and flora. Neutrals critters won't hurt either.

I'm gonna work on trolls variants. The normal trolls will become Mountain Trolls. Cave trolls will only be seen in caves and will have rock-hard hide. Ice Trolls are seen in cold environement, but won't differ much from the average trolls. Nor will forest trolls, to tease the elves.

I can't say that I'm totally correct but I believe that Myconids are *good aligned. I don't know how they are progressing on the PHM thread but that could fill one of those roles.

As far as some more neutral aligned beasts, I believe Cave fishers haven't been mentioned yet.
Description
"Cave Fisher: Crustacean-like monsters that hang up high in a cavern and fish for prey with their sticky tongues, eventually chopping the prey to bits with massive pinchers."
*Though I think this role is already taken by the Strangler in vanilla DF.

+ As for other good-aligned creatures, besides gnomes and mushroom-men I think maybe a benign race of insect-men (such as Formian http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Formian ) might be worth a shot.
+ For good/ neutral plants maybe *moonberries might be an idea...

- For another neutral (hungry) critter a Bulette (a.k.a Land Shark) might be what the doctor ordered.

I've already designed a few underground plants if you want.  Pick and chose from my plants (I especially like the mithril plant) and GRead's plants

I would love to see someone add Purple Dragons (aka Deep Dragons) added into the underdark.

Myconids, Cave Fishers and Formids are already in vanilla so there's no need to add them.
Bullette sounds like a great idea. Wish we could have it prefer gnome meat.

Great! I'll add GRead's Plants. Give you both credit.

About myconids... You could add more variety to mushroom-men, including all types of mushrooms.

Its having some trouble with assinging tissues, but its hard to say exactelly what without the raw file.

Check if you got everything in the right order, check caste selections, etc. Order should be something like this: bodyparts, materials, tissue, layers.

Probably you can shuffle some parts around a bit, like defining bodyparts after tissue, but you cant define a tissue layer before defining the actual tissue, material and bodyparts. Defining tissue before material might also cause trouble.

Alternately you could have messed up your bodypart file.
