Sorry about the stockpile/workshop situation. I knew it was ugly when I made it, but things needed to move inside as fast as possible.

...wait. what? Capybara diplomat?

Would it be feasible to fill the moat with magma, capture our diplomatic rodent friend, and rig a lever to dump him in for our judges to play with?

@flaede: it's okay, i got it sorted.... .... at least more than partially..... ........ i think.

yes, capybara fiend diplomat. from the humans' settlement. it's icon is a green flashing &. it's harmless.... but it's destroying our coffins (the ones on the z level above the mayor's room). for no reason. so i made new coffins and put them 4 z levels above it...

@lonewolf I .... yes yes yes! do it. somehow. be careful though, the capybara diplomat has the stats of a forgotten beast... even though it's average in size.

here's the save: http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=2507 sorry it took me a long time. uploading is a pain with an unstable internet.

You sorted out your computer issues yet, Voligne, or do I need to take the save?

Have the save.

Why is our resident superhero trapped behind chalk statues?

Are there any projects to pump magma to the surface that I can take advantage of, or do I need to start from scratch?

Has the capybara been captured?

Does the military need my attention at all?

Where are the levers for the bridges?

Do we have a potential powersource for a pumpstack?

EDIT: *facepalm* Nvm. Found the river.

Voligne, lay out your DF issues, because you're not going last. Let's get it all sorted out so you can take your turn.

Why is our resident superhero trapped behind chalk statues?
They are statues of flying things. Our resident superhero will never land, so I built out the tower to encompass him. he statues are all of flying things.

Are there any projects to pump magma to the surface that I can take advantage of, or do I need to start from scratch?
There is an entire dug-out area prepared for building a pump-stack. And the beginnings of a power-system based on the different heights of water on different sides of one of the caverns. (I didn't get the screw pumps built, because I was busy having my dwarves being turned into pincushions.

Where are the levers for the bridges?
Right next to the bridges, sadly.

I think we should get a Control room set up some time soon, put a Dwarf whom everyone doesn't know or Hates with a passion into it and seal him. Use the Barrow system to control when his own Food Stockpile gets refilled after that lock him in and keep him alive, we need the AI in control over all Levers up there, and so he don't go crazy and start pulling them when he shouldn't... Perhaps make a viewing platform above so an Archer can put him out of his Misery if needed...
