I'll upload the map when I can. What you have to do is export the maps image(esc menu option) and then compress the .bmps using DF Map Compressor and then upload the .FDF-MAP file to the DF Map Archive.

If you want the map to have your tileset then you'll have to upload it yourself. If you don't mind it looking like my turn did then I'll upload it.

EDIT: I uploaded the map: http://mkv25.net/dfma/map-8890-skycrushers Please add some points of interest Flaede.

I found some interesting engravings down it what is now part of the magma sea. Including one finely-designed image of a goblin being mortally wounded by "a chalk" :P . I think I recall some goblins waltzing over some stonefalll traps during my reign.

Thanks for uploading the map. It is a tangled mess, I blame goblin archers.

The "chalk" wounding is probably fairly common. ( A lot of stones were all "hidden", as well, which made stockpile designation a pain. I think that's all fixed) I did the "drawbridge dance", and lured attacking parties back and forth across the stonefall/cage traps. It's funny to get a cage with a dead goblin in it. (there's still one with a dead orangutan in it). As an interesting note, the engraver that did most of those is now refusing to work. (hence the lack of decorations).

Good luck to you. Getting the power source working would be a harder task. You may not want to bother. Or you may want to ignore my stuff and build walls. Just sayin ;)

Everything's been updated on the first post.

Voligne, good luck with your turn. If you run into some trouble, you can either boldly go where no dwarf has gone before, or ask us questions about stuff to do.

Hey, Voligne, haven't heard from you about our map. Let's hear a progress report.

I think you should skip me right now, DF keeps crashing and I dont know why, ive tried downloading it a second time but no dice...

I am using windows 7 btw, so there might be something in the OS that is killing DF.

Lets pass it on none the less...
When you work out what was causing the problem, you can jump back in...

rosedrake, go ahead and take Voligne's turn. I'll just swap you two around.

In the meantime, Voligne, figure out what's wrong with DF, and see if you can't get some saves working.

I could tell you what happened on my turn, but it was pretty boring (other than the Tiger Incident). It was basically filled with archer ambushes, and the luring of said archers across the traps by creative flipping of bridge-levers.

That and the Level 69 Incident. But we already covered that.

EDIT: I, also, am curious what's going on right now.

Yes, that's what I meant. I want to know what's going on with our project now, so that I can keep it moving forward.

rosedrake, are you working on our turn?

Voligne, have you sorted out your DF issues yet?
