Osbert Shaffer stares out at the desolate landscape before him. Then he focuses his mind and shuts his eyes. When he opens them an instant later, the scene has changed. He is standing outside a building in London. The year is 2020. He glances at his watch.

Piet Pompies pokes his head out from behind a piece of wreckage. An idea is beginning to form in his head. His vision blurs before his eyes as he weaves his way through the timestream to 1925. He stands in Tokyo, Japan. He gazes out at the developing city, going over his plan in his mind.

Anton Gorodetsky contemplates the radioactive wasteland before him. He looks down at his watch, then vanishes. He reappears in 2020, in a crowded airport in southwestern Russia. He walks up to the ticket counter.
"I would like to buy a ticket to Korea," he says. "Money is not a problem."
"I'm sorry, sir," the ticket lady responds. "All flights to Korea are canceled. The country is on lockdown. No one is allowed to enter or exit Korea."
Anton frowns, and ponders his next move.

Sique Malade snaps his fingers and chronoports to 2049. The geiger counter on his belt immediately starts screaming. He quickly chronoports back to 2051.

Alexander Kyrby jumps through time to 1712. He stands in Quebec, or what would be Quebec if it wasn't the 1700s. Several Frenchmen and Native Americans stare at him. He suddenly feels very exposed.

John Uar Gey pops into Berlin, Germany, September 10th, 2001. He looks slightly puzzled, and becomes lost in thought.

That is the first turn! Sorry for any confusion. If you did not specify a place you wanted to go or if the place was outside your country I placed you in the capital. You can now proceed to where you want to go from here. Remember, you can travel through time, but you will always pop in at the same place you started from. Any actual progress on the map will have to be plain ol' walking (or the transportation of your choice). Please submit your actions for Turn 2!
