Your hero has to get to level 7 before they can join a guild. You can then tell them to "Join the 'Slaves to Armok' guild" or something via the chat thing and they'll go on a quest to do so.

Yeah, pretty much every time I logged in for the last several weeks (which is like twice <_<) I had to have him cancel a join-something-else quest.

Also, I appear to be "Chief Master" now.
