Hooray, my first non-negative piece of equipment! It's a "No Trespassing" sign +0". And my hero's on a quest to find and hypnotize the hypnotoad.

I can imagine my character actually not looking that bad since most of his clothes and weapon are hidden under a raincoat.
Quote
Weapon      dried fish -7
Shield         tin can -8
Head          cocked hat -5
Body          raincoat -5
Arms          armlets of labour teacher -5
Legs          wooden planks with springs -4
Talisman    glass necklace -8
Dude.  If I found someone walking around wearing planks with springs on them I would be ALL over them.

Duelmaster:  I told him to give me a rib when he said that.  Nothing has come of it, sadly.

I know right, planks with springs are sexy as hell.

Try talking to your hero when he's fighting.  There's a chance you'll discourage the enemy creature and (hopefully) make them less effective in battle.

...oddly enough, all three times when this actually worked I've used phrases that include the words "kick" and "balls".  I fear there might be a pattern.

And I've commanded my hero on numerous occasions to hook up with Shadowgandor's champion, since he picked a chick to carry the faith.  No luck thus far on the dating front.

Anyways, my guy's almost halfway through his third quest...  Only got one golden brick though.  I wonder what happens if you get the thousand required to build a temple.  I checked the profiles of a couple people who've been there for months and the most I saw was 83 bricks.  Yikes.

I do appear to have some upgraded equipment though...  Nothing flashy yet, but I've only got one item that's still -9.  Everything's higher, and I've got a full set.  Good guys may take longer to level up and whatnot, but at least they survive longer...  Holding onto all your gold, items and quest progress has gotta pay off.

Sometimes if you select punish you will miss your guy and smite whoever he's fighting, or encourage him to charge and instakill whatever he's fighting.

Yeah, that seems to be regarded as one of the "selling points" of an evil character.

One of the elder members on their forum was also talking about certain punishments giving your character gold, items or experience...  Haven't heard of anyone else experiencing this, but it may just be "common knowledge" for that crowd.

I kinda wish punish was more useful that encourage. I don't want to be a happy god, but dammit smiting things just isn't as effective as healing the dork so he can smite multiple things.
