Huh, my hero (Mimn Drophammers) got scammed by a trader. I promptly punished him and he repsonded by scamming the next 2 traders he came upon.

Edt: and he lost most of that gold when he got stolen after drinking too much. PANISH!

The armor has some base stats, and what our heroes equip have their base stats lowered by the shown amount - at least I think it works that way. Whether or not a "birthday suit -9" is a net improvement over nothing at all, however...

I logged onto Godville, and my hero's quest was listed as "Crash twenty anthills".  It was only just started.

Bay12 is known primarily for Dwarf Fortress, as a result I think many people view as acceptive of different game concepts.
