sorry i swear i'm gonna revive this with glitter and fluff, i've been doing some homework but it's not been my main objective in life. in the meanwhile, i got a free domain to host the pictures and replace them in real time, photobucket was really very unreliable


i'm thinking about asking your opinion on stuff, but i wanted stuff to be a surprise...

Image doesn't show up.
Just use tinypic.com. Recently they make you type in captchas, I guess so people don't have bots upload 300 images and spam the server, but honestly it's very nice and a fraction of a second of typing per picture isn't very much.

damn, the host doesn't allow hotlinking.
but tinypic isn't an option, i need a host that lets me replace images keeping the same url, photobucket does it but it takes hours, sometimes days, to replace a picture

before settling for photobucket i tried them all... i'll keep looking

Okay, I found one. It's called FileAve.
You go to fileave.com. You sign up (give a fake e-mail just in case, they don't need confirmation or anything), click through four or five pages of asking you to submit offers (just click Skip at the bottom), and you're there. What happens is that you can upload files and the link is http://DWARFGUY2.fileave.com/FILENAME.png. Then, when you want to upload a different one, you delete the file on FileAve, then upload the new one (with the same name).
