Rotten Heart?
« on: May 20, 2010, 09:42:14 pm »

A poison gas spewing crocodile has made one of my dorf's hearts rotten. I wouldn't normally care but he has 6 children and a wife, which would cause a large amount of tantruming if he bit it. He won't lie down for surgery and for all intents and purposes he seems fine, but he is always blinking red. He's been around a while and it's been almost a year since the fight. Will he die?

Don't worry, you don't need a working heart:

It might get infected and if it does he will probably die. I'm not sure if internal body parts can get infected or not, though.

Right now, internal organs (except the brain and lungs) don't really have any function so damaging/destroying them does not really do anything. So if it can't (or just does not) get infected he should be OK.

Make soap and see if you can get the doctor to scrub it clean?
