This is intended to copy some of those DnD threads that have the posters say what stats they think they would have due too life and work experiences. If you give yourself anything better then Professional you better have a really good reason

For example, myself.

Proficient Cook- I cook alot and several times for large groups over 20

Proficient Archer- I own my own handmade longbow and I'v entered archery competions

Skilled Negotiator/Persuader- I manage and lead a small work team for an electric company and have to talk to my boss for funding and equipment.

Competent Comedian- I'm a bit of a clown when I want to be (especially with alcohol )

Competent Judge of intent- I am pretty good about picking up on people's moods and such

Expert Liar- I had to lie through out my child and teenage years to both my parents and never got caught about ALOT of things like religion, politics, and my own personal sex life (not gay, but was active much earlier then either parent knew  )

Adequate Carpenter- I infrequntly (about once every two years) completly replace my wooden plank fence

Novice Mason - Helped install some drywall and built a brick shed.

Dabbling Wound Dresser- I can and have applied pressure bandages and bandaids

Dabbling Plant Gatherer- I go visit family in Maine and gather wild stawberries and wild blackberries.

Talented Dodger - I'm crap at pinning people, but I only know one guy able to pin me properly, and my dodging skills are second to none.

Talented Wound Dresser - I was a member of the Red Cross for ages, I can do all the basic first aid in my sleep plus some of the more difficult stuff that you have to apply for.

Competent cook - I can cook student meals, but nothing fancy.

Adequate Metalsmith - Metal is my favourite thing to work with. I'm not great from a technical standpoint, think Orkwares

Adequate Swordsdwarf - Both my mum and my dad (re-enactors) have taught me, but I've got no real talent for it.

Adequate Archer - I've used a bow a fair bit, I go larping as well, but again, no talent.

Dabbling Axedwarf - Used them, hate them.

Novice Shield User - I occasionally use a shield when LARPing, but I'm not great with them.

Adept speardwarf - Here's my thing. All those other weapons are kinda lame compared to the sheer awesomeness of the spear.

Proficient comedian - I'm the joker of my group, always have been.

Proficient Liar - I'd prefer not to think of it as lying, I'd much prefer "evasive conversationalist".
