[4] While everyone else enters the great big house, you catch a very feint smell of food...cooked meat...through the ground under you.
[5] You raise your long red foot in the air and smash the ground in front of you. The ground caves in and you jump down, doing a couple a flips, before landing on a chair with a rather large cooked boar laying on a table in front of you.
The room you are in is lit with chandeliers, big and decorated with various paintings and above a fireplace is portrait of someone.
ask for meat! Cooked.... and eat it!
After you entered the house, you ask the old man for cooked MEAT!
[4] The Elder replies with: "Of course, you must be hungry from your long journey. My servant shall guide you to the dining room. Supper should be ready"
He rings a bell and a young man shows up without saying a word.
Elder:"Take this young lady to the table. She will join us for lunch."
The young man takes your arm and guides you through various corridors and rooms until you arrive in one with paintings and a large table.
You see Kyrby staring at the food on the table while drooling.
The young man seats you next to Kyrby.
You look into Kyrby's eyes and he looks into yours...instinctively you and Kyrby knew...this wasn't going to be enough for both of them.
I go in and remain standing, watching the old man and his guards, "You seem awfully eager to help a group of strangers find an Artifact."
You keep your eyes on the guards by the door entrance; they keep their eyes on you.
You wait until Ha'Toki was out of sight and then you confront the Elder with your questions.
[5] Elder: *sigh* "I'm not going to lie to you. That which you seek is fraught with danger the likes you can not comprehend. Many adventurers, like your self, would pass by and ignore my warnings. They all died. Except Sven, my servant."
[4] Your years of diplomacy suggest that he tells the truth.
Create an illusionary signpost with flashing arrow pointing at the pit entrance with words: "hey, anyone? Imma here!"
And, yes, the signpost should be outside of pit, yeah.
After that cry in panic and run in circles.
[5] You use your Illusion magic to create a large sign post above the hole you fell through. It clearly states your location and flashes bright frequently.
[3] You start pacing and worry if you would be found or not.
