You take the gold and start channeling portal magic. (1) You get blown across the room.

HOLY

You ignore the failure and begin the portal creation process. (3) Not much happens, so you try again. (3) Urk, one more go...

(6) Third time's the charm! The portal forms and you step through. (1) You and your group end up in a cave. Um...

BILL

You cast your fire blast at a guard. (4) He's lit on fire and he stumbles around wildly.

RICHARD

You nod at Bill's handywork, pleased. You then drag him with you through the portal, winding up in a cave.

ARGENT

You try to get the Doctor to join you. (6) He agrees, and even tells you where the nearest town is.

EXKIRBY

You ask what the fragmentation missile is going on. (1) The two are too busy trying to figure out what a fragmentation missile is to answer your question.

hmm plot can be useful, but it also restricts randomness.

I inform kirby that both the doctor and I have decided to help him, i then show him what i can do and microwave a nearby creature i want to eat

Yes plot, but an unrestrictive one.

I throw a big fireball in the air, to see how big the cave is. I try this until success.
I then proceed to find a small hole somewhere.

I vote that you just let us create our own plot, from overshots and/or critical failures on nigh-impossible actions.

I attempt to create a portal to an unoccupied, mostly inhospitable area. I need a place to dwarvenly store all the gold I'll be getting.

Hai guise.

ARGENT

You inform the guy that you and the doctor, total strangers, are going to be following him around (6). You manage to make that not sound creepy.

You then go to microwave a dead squirrel (6) accidentally overcooking it a tad.

EXKIRBY

Ugh...tired...sleepy time.

(3) You sleep dreamlessly.

RICHARD

You try to blast some flare spells into the air (2) failing. You sigh and try again, (5) succeeding this time.

(1) The cave is much smaller than you thought, and the flare scorches you slightly as it disperses against the ceiling. You start looking for a small hole. (6) You find a system of small tunnels in a wall.

STEVEN

You try to make a portal to a suitable gold storage location. (4) You create the portal, and find yourself in a volcanic cavern.

BILL

You try to float a fireball above your hand. (6) It ends up too bright, blinding you for a few seconds.

HOLY

You try to make a new portal. (4) It appears succesfully. You step through and (6) come out two feet above the assassin. Whee-OW. He wakes up from you landing on him.

Characters thoughts: Total stranger appears from no where, new friend was injured, this guy is possibly after him

So Blind him with a flash of light, then bind him in some way for questioning, also so kirby can identify him, once this is done eat the squirrel, meat is meat

Edit: i have no idea how long this was, it is why when i say il have a urn in a bit, i use a sepperate post, to bump it to the top, so players can more easily see it

I look for a different uninhabited area to store my gold. Volcanoes tend to erupt, which is bad for gold.
