Aww... was worth a shot anyway.

I bet that Colin is virtual. Not real.

Okay guys, I'd like to reinstate the syntax. It goes like this. If you want to talk to Colin, talk normally. If you want to talk amongst ourselves, talk in italics, like this. And finally, if you want to talk to the game, for example to use magic or info or talk to a mod, use bold.

Tarran, Chadlass is our enemies, not Colin. Colin lives in the Tradus system.

Colin, it's not over yet. You drove off those people, but they'll come back soon, and maybe even more people will come back. I'm afraid you could be in this for a while.
Do you know somewhere where you could get weapons, or allies? Do you want to check on your wife, maybe? Or get some food that will keep for a while?

I have a feeling that you misunderstood me. The reason magic doesn't work on Chadlass is because he doesn't have magic in his universe, likely meaning that Colin is in a alternate "universe". And since we do stuff with computer like commands, Colin likely lives inside a supercomputer.

Perhaps, but does it really matter? If he's a simulation he's on a level that's indistinguishable from reality, so questioning his "reality" becomes pointless.

It may matter in the future. Knowledge is power. It may not ever be useful, but it will likely prevent confusion.

Right, Colin, you are now an adventurer. We need to find some little baddies to train on, so see if you can get a job from the mayor killing something threatening the city, or something...

Whatever. We just need cash, and we can really only help you fight. So fighting it is. You should check up on your wife first though, that's the first thing they will go for after you.

Prince Arseph's birthday is today, and the usual tournament is being hosted by the Chancellor. I could catch the tail end of it?

A job from the Chancellor? That might be a little hard... I don't know him personally.

Ah! I'm not used to this kind of thing. I need to get her to go to her parents house... It'll take me two minutes to get home. I'm going to do that right away.

Why, exactly?

And sorry for being a little behind the times, but what exactly will that do? Allow someone to use some amount of your magic in their actions?

I think it means that you can use my powers, but only partially successfully. Not to the extent that I can.
If I'm offline, I want you guys to be able to use my powers anyway.

It went fine. She's on her way back to her parents house, safe and sound. She's worried about me.

The best way to get money I know of is to sell mire dragon teeth. A set of mire dragons teeth can buy you peerage.

Sounds good to me. How big/dangerous are mire dragons exactly?

Mire dragons get sucked into airship engines through a place our "scientists" (I'm learning already!) call purple space. There are nasty, and they're not enough people volunteering to kill them to keep all of our airships in the air all of the time. If you kill one as a team you have to split the teeth between everyone, and they're worthless unless you have a full set. A full set can be put into the void thrones, and lets captains command our airships using only their minds!

It's a murderous business, though. If the dragons don't kill you, your teammates will. The teeth imprint after a few minutes too, and most fights take longer than that. It makes the whole set worthless most of the time...

Can mire dragons be tamed?

Nope!
