The RNG is trying to tell me something.

I was renaming a fortress before embark and one of the random names that came up was Squashedfortress. Huh.
I kept it for the lulz and moved on to the group name. The Laborious Avalanche. Why?! What, exactly does the RNG know that I don't? Is it predicting the future or something? I will make this fortress invulnerable to all threats big and small, SIMPLY TO SPITE YOU, RNG!

I once got a fort called Crypttunnels or something to that effect. I still think the best fort name I ever got out of the RNG was Goldenshowers; I built a large waterfall out of solid gold.

My current RNG named fort is The Pit of Sacrifice, and the group name was The Gory Tools.

 It's a type of garment that women wore around the 16th century.  Basically, they lace up from the front and look like a cross between a corset and a tunic.

According to my Oxford, "The upper part of a women's dress", excluding sleeves.
