This thread got silly after I left work, but that's okay and to be expected.

You guys managed to make Emily laugh a lot (especially the deathnote joke) and at least she's thinking about it seriously now. =D

OT: Go for something that is uncommon, not outlandish. Perhaps a tribute name? Gygax sounds fine.

Also, the standard is to use both names with a dash, as in Landreth-Metzger or Metzger-Landreth.

Indeed, trying to come up with an intense fantasy name is going to piss off both your parents and your offspring.
