The only thing that have ruined my fortress, is the killer of FPS.

It isnt fun to deal with, there is no point to it, and its over powered.

You have to design your entire fortress to compensate for it, or else your dead!

I was thinking more along the lines of this legendary champion, all clad in dented and dinged up steel plate, his blood-drenched axe slung over his back, a notch in the handle for every enemy that saw the swing of that blade as the last sight they ever saw, a battered shield strapped over his arm... and a fluffy, pink stuffed hippo hidden discretely in his breastplate.

Everything but the FPS drop is an opportunity for Fun... lack of booze is kinda bad though. Especially in real life.

Trees don't scare me. I just need an axe, a torch, or twenty pounds of C4.

If that were the plot for an M. Night Shyamalan film the twist would be that the noble is really an Elf.

Speaking of M. Night Shyamalan and Elves, I'm pretty sure the Aliens in Signs were Elves from 500 years ago...in the future. Dun Dun Dunhhh

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.
Quote from: Ze Spy
Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Please add puppies.  They do scary things to my FPS, though after I get 50 or so dogs staked out in the dog room, they are a good meat source.

How did I miss the existence of this thread?
(Don't attempt to answer that.  Down that path lies ... well I was going to say madness but you all run towards madness as if it was made from chocolate and puppies.  Just forget I said anything.)

Not having a symmetric fortress... I make everythign symmetric, so if i have magma coming in from one side of a room, i HAVE to make it come in from the other side too...

I have this problem as well. It got really bad in my last 40D fort, where symmetry required six pumps for each section of magma workshops.
