I have Dysgraphia and I was eight when I made the name for my second online account.

Criptfeind - Do you think Ottofar's being out of town during RVS will hurt the game?  Or will it help to have some fresh perspective in case something like Bandage's slip sends us off on a newbhunt, rather than a scumhuntz?

Eh the more I play the more I realize that RVT is needed but still bull crap and I dislike it, so probably a good thing that he is gone. Unless he is scum of course.

Also, Criptfeind, why haven't you contributed anything? You answered questions, but have yet to participate yourself. Why?
 
In summary, Kilakan appears to be buddying, so I am more suspicious of him. Also more suspicious of Lonewolf I for WIFOM. Also, Cript has not participated much. I've played a game where he was scum before, and he was very active there, so I don't find this really scummy of him. It has still grabbed my attention.

True. I think that scum can be easier since you know who is your ally and enemy. But being scum can put more pressure on you, and I'm not always great with pressure.

But, if you don't contribute by the end of Day 1, I will be very suspicious.

As far as WIFOM goes, now I understand that term, though I don't believe the assessment is valid.  WIFOM means forcing your opponent into such circular reasoning, using the pressure of the situation to obtain a single, irrevocable decision that is usually either a blind guess or a Third Option born of hasty, hopefully fallacious reasoning.

Certainly my analysis of the situation is the product of some circular reasoning, but there is no decision being made.  Any confusion my statement creates is the result of a perceived False Dilemma.  Scum could easily adopt a different strategy, and negate my reasoning completely.  Indeed, they probably have.

The purpose behind my particular wording was threefold:

• Point out one possible scenario in which Bandages is not scum, and one in which he is.  I was using both scenarios as support for my caution that we not rush into lynching him blindly.
• Remind everyone that there is an elite IC over in scumchat.  Whatever plan scum settle on will have likely passed his scrutiny.
• Take potshots at the scum planning process, attempting to sow disorder and confusion, however brief, into scumchat.

Also, Bandages.  Posting nonsense is anti-town as well.  It's an indicator of activelurking.  Even though you're currently under the microscope, you should still be doing scumhunting of your own.  Useless town deserve to be lynched almost as much as scum.

Well I am of the belief that it is useless to lynch anyone day one, just because we have NO information to go off of.

At least day 2, we can get cop information as well as see if there are any people that are doubling up on a proffesion.
