Gold plated support! Wish that you could accept donations for your work!
Be careful what you wish for! ;)

Nice one! Transfering some money into paypal account now... Takes 3-5 working days to clear though :/ Expect a dontation after it clears :D

I wonder how toady would feel about some kind of donation drive to add some better graphical support. I mean, right now we have two very talented pixel artists and it would be a shame to loose you guys before he gets around to making those updates! Imagine the possibilties with RGB support and dedicated tiles(and other features im probably not aware are needed/requested).

Not to be a Debbie downer, but I'm worried about what Toady will think about getting donations for this.  Not that he could stop you, but I seem to remember him being concerned about people who make utilities and stuff cutting into his income.

Hrmm.. well im sure that he can take donations for pixel artwork. In any event, i'm also transfering funds to donate to toady, which I may not have done so soon otherwise(usually wait for an update before I donate).

Support our pixel artists! It's alot of work and creativity to put in. Donations can always go toward GFX tablets, better hardware, or even just to get a few drinks with friends to boost moral and stimulate creativity.

Phoebus, could you maybe add an example fortress section to the tile selector that changes with your tile selection.  This would be to give you a better idea of what your selected tiles would look like in that situation.

That would be a lot of work, but it's a good idea nonetheless.

I've managed to migrate the bitmap manipulation to pointer based operations. So the TilesetAssembler should be faster now.
I'll see if I can add generate an in-game screenshot now.

I've added a preview screen to the Tileset Assembler:
Spoiler: Preview Screen (click to show/hide)
Left Click cycles through background colors (useful for the tileset view).
Right click toggles between the preview and the tileset view.

You can download the latest TilesetAssembler.exe @ MediaFire

Would it be possible for you to add the dwarf graphics from Mayday and Ironhands graphics set to the TilesetAssembler? Sorry but I prefer them :(
Or if there's an easy way for me to add new dwarf graphics but keep everything else, myself, maybe you or someone else could explain how?

Well it worked, although not really...the graphics are all messed up and there's sometimes 2 dwarfs on the same picture or he's cut in half or looks like a zombie...same on both Ironhand and Mayday. Did I do something wrong? I put the dwarves.png in graphics and replaced the original then ran the savegame+init updater cause the graphics didn't update at first, then I also tried replacing the dwarves.txt with the ironhands. Still same thing. :/

I really meant 'replace'.
Delete the directory and everything that's in it, copy another 'graphics' directory (from Ironhand or Mayday) in it's place in the 'raw' directory.

Replacing individual files can be much more complex.
