I like those.  They are similar to what I've been working on which was, I must admit, influenced by the walls you introduced a version or two ago.


I'm still working on the fine details, and they don't show engravings, as I haven't quite gotten the walls the way I'd like them to appear yet.   After that is done I'll be "fixing" them so engravings show up, but if you could update the 16x16_Kren.png with the walls from this .xcf I'd appreciate it. :D
The link's broken, and the only file with the same name in a subdirectory contains these walls with no engraving.

Meh. Mispelt yer name ... again.  My wife's nickname is Phoenix, so when typing Phoebus I have to consciously not misspell it. :/   Did that same typo the last three times I've updated DF and switched the graphics using VIs %s/<pattern>/<substitution>/g command.

That is indeed the file I was attempting to link to.  I guess I should have cut copied and pasted instead of hand typing the entire URL tag.

Way #1:
Download the Graphic Set Package (small one).
Unpack it over your current installation.
In the directory "/data/init/", copy "init.phoebus.txt" & "d_init.phoebus.txt" over "init.txt" & "d_init.txt".
Run the savegame updater.
Play.

Way #2:
Download the Pre-Installed Package (large one).
Install/unpack it somewhere.
Copy your savegames from your old game to your new install. "/DF/data/saves/"
Run the savegame updater.
Play.

Way #3:
Download the Pre-Installed Package (large one).
Install/unpack it somewhere.
Copy the new DF files you just unpacked over your old install.
Run the savegame updater.
Play.

*Updated* 0.31.25v04
Improved walls. (Again)
Added a 'Phoebus' embark profile.
Added graphics for dwarf, human & goblin beekeepers and wax workers.
Fixed a bug with zombie, skeleton & ghost graphics.
Removed the 'feature' where the end bridges look like dead trees.
Improved the tile for severed body parts. (Ironhand)
Updated Kren's walls.
FPS display is now enabled by default.

Phoebus, I love you so much. Know why?
You listen to your users. The part that got me happy is that now, FPS is enabled by default.
Even the Phoebus embark profile sounds great, although I hope it consists of some nice stuff.

You are the one we've been waiting for, Phoebus.

Fabtastic - beekeeper and wax workers now look like beekeepers and waxworkers!

Oh - an issue i run into a long while ago when customising tilesets - now that units lie down when dead, they also appear horizontal when engraved...

I have a mac and tried to install the graphic set (not pre merged with the game). I have this problem.

No found data/art/curses_640*300.png

And game crashed. Any idea someone?

Go in data/init/ and delete init.txt and d_init.txt, then copy/rename init.phoebus.txt to init.txt and d_init.phoebus.txt to d_init.txt.
That's the only thing I can think of.

Did the changes, now it's : Alert : data/init/interface.txt not found, or I/O error encountered.

I took the file from original folder and copied it, after that, it was the mouse.png from art file missing. I replaced it to. Now it's : Main index file missing/corrupted. the file ''index'' must be in the data folder. make sure DF decompressed into it's folders properly.

I wanna mention that the original mac pack is working fine.

I think your Zip utility destroyed/replaced directories when it unpacked the graphic pack files.
The graphic pack does not contain all of the files necessary (even in the data & raw directories) for the game to run.
You need to unpack on top of a DF install, merging directories and overwriting files.

Ok I found the problem... Exactly the same as Ironhand (so it must be my computer). The unzipping kills some of it's content.

In my case (and other people experiencing the same problem) the 'data' file should NOT be entirely copied. It's missing a lot of thing (including index), just it's content have to be replaced in the main 'data' file of original game.

And it does make it work fine XD
