Is it possible to make ghosts a separate tile? If yes, it could be as easy as duplicating the current dwarf sheet, converting it to grayscale, then writing a txt file for it.

*Updated* 0.31.21v04
Removed the diagonal bar from 0 (Zero) and coffins. (Default/Phosasam tileset)
Restored the tile for traction benches. (Yay! No more dwarves stuffed in pots!)
Changed the tile for large pots; bowyer workshops will be affected.
Changed the tile for honeycombs, hives, jugs, mortars, bowls, ladles & cauldrons.
You should have ant-hills use the same tile as hives.  Unless they don't show up anymore now that hives have taken over their tile. (I always thought it odd that ants lived in wells ;)).
I use the table tile to represent beehives, for it's likeness to commercial beehives. In retrospect I forgot to consider natural beehives...  :-\
Short of dedicating a tile to ant hills (something we can't afford at the moment), I think the well tile still fits ant hills the best.
At the very least they are very easy to identify once you make the "well = ant-hill" association.

Yeah, I had assumed that was why the ant-hill used the well tile. :D  Plenty of spots like that here in Texas. (darn fire ants  ::) )

It is definitely going to be nice when more updates to how tiles are used/selected get made to the game.  Then we'll be able to have all the different variants the game wants to use. ;)

Deon's tileset makes use of the tag [DEFAULT:X:Y:Z:AS_IS:GHOST]
I do not know if it works, but I've included it in my tileset.

I played .21 with your texture pack and now I play default graphics in .22 with my old save.
Now my trees look like ë's and wall like ý's
How do I change that?

You mod the raws.  Trees and shrubs have their own tile (not graphic) as listed in their file, such as [tile:'y'] or such.  Graphic packs are tailored to change tree and shrub images to the modified sprites, but a default set of raws is made for only the default positions, so things change.

As a note, you can take the entire art folder, and the entire graphics folder, and move them over.  I'm doing that now.  Vermind, plants, and trees look a little off, but it's playable.

[CREATURE:BAT_MAN] Two lines have been merged; I believe by mistake. Bug?
[CREATURE:REPTILE_MAN] now has LEATHERY_EGG_MATERIALS assigned to BODY_DETAIL_PLAN.
[CREATURE:SERPENT_MAN] ditto
[CREATURE:KOBOLD] ditto
[CREATURE:DRAGON] ditto

Rodent man: Troglodyte

For the record, the graphics from the former Phoebus tileset should work just fine... the only thing that might be screwy is some of the creatures.

Go ahead, dump the graphics folder into .22, it will most likely work for 99% of the stuff.

For the inpatient people (such as myself)
People are all ready reporting game breaking bugs, so there will probably be a 31.23 out soon. Releasing phoebus 31.22 might just be a pain in the ass.

This is probably the best bet for now

Just remember, Phoebus, for everyone that posts a (serious) "i want my update nao!" there is at least one person patiently waiting for you to find the time to make the required changes and post the latest version of your wonderful compilation mod. :D

And for those that aren't joking, try to remember that you may very well have downloaded the updated version of DF before Phoebus.  :P
