Here's a bash version of your batch file updater if you're interested:

I made it for Linux, but it might work on Mac too. Might want to get someone to check that.
I'm not sure how I should name a bash file.

*.sh should do it
does this mean you plan on releasing a pre-installed linux version?
shouldn't be much of a problem, just grab toady's linux version, put your files in it, tar it up (or use another format like 7zip) and off you go

I didn't think any looked good - thought the problem was hardcoded ... pretty sure Ironhand's has a similar issue.

Yeah, bash files normally either have a .sh extension, or no extension at all.

Also, when you create the file, make sure you use LF newlines. Windows Notepad uses CRLF, and if run from the shell, the CR byte will get interpreted as part of the name of the program the script is supposed to be run by. You'll know you did it right when you try to open the file in Windows Notepad and it tries to display everything on a single line, interspersed with strange block characters.

Yeah, Notepad is retarded, and Unix is complimicated. :'(

Great tileset, thanks! I downloaded the .12 version, but my stone doesn't look right...



How can I fix it so that it has the correct nifty graphics?

Exit the game.
Run DF_savegame_updater.bat to update your savegames.
Restart the game.

I've uploaded pre-packaged versions for Linux and OSX to the Mediafire mirror.

So the only update in .12, is a Savegame Updater for Linux?

I'm a Windows user.
It's also an update to the v0.31.12 of Dwarf Fortress.

I had already done that. Only I apparently had been in the the wrong directory, so I had updated it to the wrong version.

Anyone has seen some graphics for Stingrays, Manta Rays or Skates? I'm sure I've seen some already but I can't find it anywhere.
